School has a bullying issue that despite a year of meetings and attempts to have it addressed is never resolved. Bully's get leadership awards, and virtually no punishment. It's multiple children too and has become the culture of the school.

Keep taking it off. I’m gonna keep putting it back on!! Keep taking it off and I’m going to keep putting it back on. 🙃🙃1,2 3 4, 5 6th, 7th 8th 9th and now the 10th time I’ve had to repost. 😇😇😇😇My grandchildren attended this school for 6 years. My eldest grandchild has special needs and the first 4 years she did well. mrs DeGross was the principal and under her example and guidance the special needs program accommodated my granddaughter and she did well. This is no longer the case and for the last 2 years, there has been a marked difference in the atmosphere of this school/church. My daughter has been ostracized for fighting for my granddaughters needs and last week, the school expelled the whole family citing the parents agenda doesn’t fit with the school after an incident where my granddaughter went to the bathroom and was in there crying and another teacher took her to her classroom to comfort her and did not tell the home room teacher. After an hour the inept home room teacher realized she wasn’t back from the bathroom and everyone started looking for her. The principal used this as an excuse to kick out the family. A month prior she told my daughter my eldest grandchild needed many more services than they could provide and needed to go somewhere else and assured her it didn’t have anything to do with my daughter advocating for my grandchild and assured her she would have time to find another school that can accommodate her. It took my daughter over a month to find a school that could accommodate Ari. So she became further behind. Nepotism, favoritism, gossip mongering and Money grubbing words that come to mind when I think of the last 2 years my grandchildren were at this school. I iihave been a Catholic all my life. I went to Catholic school, sent my daughter to 12 years of Catholic school and up until 2 weeks ago contributed to this church while attending another church close to my home. To show how petty and gossipy this place is, the assistant principal said to my daughter “you don’t even go to church on sundays”. If she wasn’t so judgmental and infantile she should have asked my daughter and she would have told her we go go to another church closer to our homes. After I see what went on at this school I for the first time in my life am doubting my Catholic religion. Shame on this place for not caring for children that don’t fit thier mold of what a perfect student should be. Quit advertising that you take special needs children and make sure you let people with special needs kids know it is up to the discretion of the teacher if they want to accommodate a special needs child. This has devastated my grandkids especially my youngest who just won an award last week. It has been hard to explain to her why she was asked to leave. There are some really wonderful teachers at st. Gregory’s. But there some really bad ones that appear to no longer enjoy teaching and need to retire. The new priest fits this new agenda also. My granddaughter who was kicked out of this school was dx with autism last week. She then received a call from 2 of her classmates one of which has been mean to her for the last 2 years informing my granddaughter that the other kids were happy she no longer went to st Gregory’s. I heard the whole conversation. She and another girls got aris phone number from a girl who used to be her friend. This is a terrible place and the girl who called just the week before got the kindness award. If bullying and mean spirited kids are considered the kindest kids in this school, tbwy need to consider what constitutes the meaning of kindness. Since I keep having to repost might as well share more. The little bully who would not leave my grandkid alone dared her to lick a tree and the grasss. Everyone laughed at my granddaughter and called her weirdo. Good job picking this meanie for the kindness award. Really kind way to treat someone with autism!!This is all in my letter I’ve written and am sending to EVERYONE. God bless ya.

Great atmosphere for students. It's very hospital and diversified. They are all focusing on learning. Teachers teach to the curriculum and to the child. The focus is how to be a good Christian. With the backing from teachers, administrators, parish priest, community and the Phoenix Diocese.

St. Gregs was the best time of my life there. I will always remember that school. Those 11 years there changed my life completely. Send your kids there. I recommend this school more than 5 stars. Awesome teachers and principle

My child has been apart of this school for two years now and could not be happier! The students, the faculty, even the parents are great all around.
