St. Elizabeths Child Dev Center

My daughter has been at St E's since April and it has been a really great experience for her and our family. The teachers are sweet and nurturing, the classrooms are nice and they offer a healthy breakfast, lunch and snack for the kiddos. I love how my daughter goes outside to play in all types of weather. She LOVES that playground. The hours are great (open until 5pm!) and it's in a very central location with convenient walkability and a bus stop nearby. Highly recommend.

St. E's has been a wonderful daycare and preschool for my own family and for many others I know in Portland. They are so caring, kind, professional and very experienced. The hours are appreciated for working parents, they are attuned to different learning styles and needs of different children, and they get bfast/lunch/snack all lovingly prepared for by their own cook. The children are outdoors frequently, they love their teachers and that playground! My daughter LOVES going to school everyday. I have zero worries, and nothing but full confidence in the staff and teachers.

My son has been at St. E's for nearly a year now and we have been thrilled with our experience. St Es helped guide us when we were first introducing our son to care outside the home— this was such an emotional time, and the school staff nurtured our son (and us 😂) through it. They are competent, reliable, and above all, kind and understanding. As a working mother, it is invaluable to be able to intrinsically trust those that care for my children when I am not around. I plan to send my younger son there when he is of age! Breakfast, lunch and multiple snacks are provided throughout the day by the beloved cook, which also decreases the load on parents. I have to coax my son home every evening because he so enjoys running around on the outdoor play structures. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and would recommend St Es to any parent in the Portland area.

We enrolled both of our kids at St. E's almost a year ago. The wonderful teachers and staff were so accommodating and supportive in every way throughout their transitions. It's really special have such a private, shaded, and FUN playground for the kids in the middle of the city. Having well-rounded meals and snacks provided takes a load off working parents, as well. We have seen so much growth in both kids, and we are so happy with this school and program; we recommend St. E's to many!

We have had an absolutely wonderful experience at St. Es! The staff are incredibly kind and caring, and we always feel safe leaving our kiddo in their care. They are thoughtful in their approach, and encourage play and learning at every step. They provide breakfast, lunch and healthy snacks, which is a huge help for busy parents. We also love that the kids spent tons of time outside. We feel very lucky to have found St. Es, and recommend it highly to anyone looking for a great daycare.
