Awesome parish and school with a very welcoming pastor to everyone, no matter their background. All are welcome at this church.
Nice church, no kneelers? so you either stood up or kneeled on the very hard tile floor=painful and/or disrespectful. Friendly parishioners, priest had us do the kiss of peace at the beginning of mass and again near communion? The choir was pretty good but they sang many of our responses plus extra verses of every song making mass even longer.
Best congregation I've ever belonged. Fr. Jim is the sweetest, he's an excellent singer, and very welcoming. This congregation welcomes EVERYONE including LGBTQ, so set aside your reservations whatever your reasons and stop in we'd love to have you!
These are the most unfriendly, judgmental, and self righteous people I’ve experienced, both at the church and school levels. The behavior depicted by the administration and staff is shocking, they hide their unchristian behavior behind the face of the church. This is reflected in the members too. If you want to become a better person in your faith, St. Edith isn’t the place. There are better Christian schools and communities, move on.
My family Parish for Years. Fr.Jim makes it feel like your relationship is close to Jesus and he is the Reason for the Season. I went to St.Edith Grade School and the Church and Grade School is where I grew up and a very special place with family. Thank You.
