My family and I did not have a pleasant experience with renting the hall for a family event. We were allowed to enter the hall at 12 pm to decorate. An elderly white woman was literally following my family around. She was watching us like a hawk. We just felt very uncomfortable with someone following us. I understand that someone has be there to monitor, but to follow us around while we decorate was very creepy. Then, the elderly woman started making up policies that were not true. Thank goodness my uncle had a copy of the contract. She told us that we had to leave the hall at 11pm (which included cleaning up). The contract specifically stated that we had to start cleaning at 11pm. She had asked about our ethnic background. We are of Southasian decent. When I told her the country that we were from, she started giving these funny looks as if my country was on another planet. There are many countries around the world and even I am not aware of some of the countries. It would have been nice if she showed some compassion. She just kept staring and replied "Indian" a few times. Another issue we had was that there is no working refrigerator at the hall. The elderly woman told us it's leaking so we couldn't enter ( freezer/fridge?). The older woman was there the whole time throughout our party. My family and I are Catholic. We usually host events at our own parish, but they were not renting at the time. Usually the person working for our church stays in the office until it's time to wrap the party. Not sure if anyone else has had a similar experience, but it was definitely unpleasant for us.

My family member even made a review. They rented the Claridge Room Hall for our Grandma’s 90th birthday. Beautiful and spacious place . But the event supervisor was rude and very mean.we would definitely not go there again unfortunately.she was an older lady and her first name starts with a M. She said to me I was not allowed to eat in the hall and to leave. I was just eating a snack since I have low blood sugar.which she was eating a full plate of food in front of me, which occurred to me , why was she allowed too? If she told me it was strictly not allowed. I went my way and a few minutes past and I see her come up from behind me and just stand there and watch me . She interrupts our conversation and then I tell her politely I will discard the food. after that, she goes in front of little kids in their faces and tell them they can’t sit where they were sitting.Mind I tell you there is a full hallway of people crowded and no where to go. I found that very disrespectful. She kept watching us and giving us ugly looks and she had a lot of ignorant side comments. I remember her saying,”this is going to take all night “. To whom it may concern, whoever is in charge ,please talk to this event supervisor, she was very unpleasant and discriminated my family the whole time she was there . Thank you.

We were there for my father-in-law''s funeral. No one there to open the church, no one there to turn on the lights. We had to wait almost 1/2 hour for someone to show up. Not what anyone needs on such a sad day!

The priest was available right away to come to my house as my mom in her last hours.... he stop everything for my mom. I will never forget about it.
