Went to school here K-2nd grade. I always loved the charm of this church and school. However, awful bullying occurred (not even to me), but that led to me being pulled out. Fr. Placidus will always have special place in my heart from my time there, but he is gone his attitude apparently did not ever permeate the church. I did tour the school back in 2014 and again in 2017 when my daughter went to stay with my dad for my deployment and when I briefly moved back, respectively. I had really wanted to give them a chance, but ultimately my daughter went to United Methodist and IC. They also don’t keep records well and never did, because I’ve requested my first communion record twice (no, it’s not notated on the back of my birth certificate at CTK - so I doubt it was sent over). They won’t call back with any information either. It just seems to be a culture of u caring unless you’re in the staff’s inner circle.
It's a beatiful church, a good place to pray, and find peace.
