Graduated from St. Bernadette’s in 2012 and now that I’m finished with college, attend mass regularly here again. It’s a great church, with a great community! So happy it is still open and wasn’t forced to close!!
I felt welcome the first time I set foot in this church. My husband is not religious so I have to attend by myself most times. Instead of feeling alone, I feel cared for. This church is SO alive with the Holy Spirit! We are one of the very few churches that keep growing in leaps and bounds! There are active groups to help the surrounding community, to pray and share the Bible with others, to sing, to adore, to welcome, to help others. Fr. Joe is the icing on the cake. Every week he speaks, his homilies are so personal, so thoughtful and thought provoking! He will have you laughing, crying, and feeling Gods Presence and leaving you with something to think about for the whole week. You will be inspired to become a better person and realize what it truly means to live as a Catholic. What more could anyone possibly ask for??!!! And sadly, as I write this in late 2024, we are fighting to stay open. Our MEGA church, where EACH WEEK the attendance is over 1,000 people (young and old alike) is being sold to pay for lawyers bills. I just cannot believe God will allow this….so come, share Christs’ message with us and feel the power of the Presence!!!! 🙏❤️✝️
Love the perpetual adoration chapel for peaceful quiet prayer and reflection. Mass with Fr. Paul is always honest, from the heart and he takes the time to reflect on current issues when needed. Sun night 8pm mass is great teen/family mass, you never know who is coming to visit and say mass. A great way to sample priests we wouldn't have met otherwise! Amen. Alleluia! Merry Christmas!
