We’ve had such a wonderful experience at Chicago Speech Therapy over the past six months! When my daughter’s original speech therapist transitioned to a new opportunity, I was naturally a bit nervous about the change. But CST handled the transition beautifully - there was even an overlap period so my daughter could ease into the switch and begin building comfort with her new speech therapist. Once she began working with Sandra, everything felt so smooth and seamless. Sandra has been incredible - so warm, detailed, and genuinely passionate about what she does. She connects with my daughter in such a thoughtful, effective way, and also keeps me in the loop with clear, consistent communication. Whether it's during or after sessions, Sandra always takes the time to answer any questions I have - no matter how big or small and I never feel rushed. The growth we’ve seen, especially over the last two months, has been amazing! Our family and friends constantly comment on how much more my daughter is talking, the words she’s using, and even the expressions on her face as she communicates. It’s been a joy to witness, and my family is beyond grateful and blessed to Sandra and the CST team!

My son started here when he was 3 1/2 yrs old and other than saying "daddy" he was not talking at all. The entire team at CST Academy helped my son and our family a lot. They were very good at teaching my son and helped me to successfully potty train him. They have a great team that are very knowledgeable in dealing with my son who is on the spectrum. He graduated this August and I cant thank enough all of the teachers and staff at CST. Now my son is talking and will start kindergarten at a local grammar school. I wanted to say thank you to Ms Lauren, Ms. Veronica,Ms Maria, Ms Andrea, Ms Hannah, Ms Hanneh, Mx Jae. Ms. Olivia. All of the therapist, Speech Language pathologist, Occupational therapist, Behavioral therapist and front desk that my son encountered thank you so much my family will miss you all. It’s hard to put into words what CST Academy has meant to my son and our whole family over the past 5 years. When we found this magical place when my son was 2.5, we never looked back and we continued with them until he turned 7 years old this year and began 1st grade. I always joke that we would keep him there forever if we could! It’s really remarkable to think about the progress he’s made in these formative years, and I believe there’s multiple reasons for it. First, nowhere else will you find a place that has a true multidisciplinary approach in its mission and model. SLPs, OTs, and ABA therapists taught alongside the preschool and pre-k teachers, and his services were intertwined in his schedule seamlessly. His team truly worked together and communicated everything to each other and it took the stress off of me to email each team member. Secondly, the professionalism each staff member exuded every day is something you don’t always see in this field. I can’t think of one time in 5 years where someone misspoke or handled often sensitive situations unprofessionally or in an ignorant or insensitive manner. I attribute this to the company’s hiring and training process. His team members truly wanted him to succeed and it wasn’t forced or fake; everyone that worked with my son was in this field for the absolute right reasons. And last, (although I can go on forever), CST took all of the hard stuff you face on this journey and carried it for us so we could focus on our child. Billing, scheduling, evaluations, communication with the district school, communication with doctors, arranging staff to play with my other kids so I could attend meetings, coming to my house to help potty train or help with haircuts… you name it, they did it WITH us. We never felt alone during these years. His team members were often my first text in the morning and last text at night — they were like family and we miss them every day. We were aware of how amazing this place was during these years, hence why we never left! But now that my son is in school, we’ve realized even more how rare and special CST was. As I look for clinics that specialize in kids more in his age range now, nothing compares. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would in a heartbeat.

CST Academy is amazing! The staff are super friendly and patient. You can see how passionate they are when working with children. I’d give them 10 stars if I could! Couldn’t say enough good things about this place! Highly recommend!
