Spice Tree School

My son transferred to Spice Tree from a corporate daycare center, and I can truly say that it’s his Home Away from Home. The own Jen is so passionate about what she does, she cares for her staff, so there is little turnover, and she knows and loves every kid and family under her care. One of the hardest decisions is choosing childcare for the loves of your life, and Spice Tree has made that decision so much easier, as I see it in my sons face every day as he smiles so big when we pull up to the school. The teachers are seasoned and design developmentally appropriate activities for the children, and communicate regularly with families on progress and concerns. The facilities are clean, and most importantly, secure. There are several activities/events held throughout the year that are the icing on the cake for an already all-inclusive school experience. I could not be happier, and highly recommend Spice Tree School for a nurturing, learning experience for your child! My son started in the infant room and just moved up to the toddler room, and the teachers slowly transitioned him, and informed me when he was ready. There’s no place else I would bring my son! Thank you Spice Tree staff for loving our children!

My daughter just graduated from their pre school program. this place is AMAZING. My daughter has been with spice tree since she was 8 months old. I was so sad when we had to leave , the teachers and the director , Jenn is so kind , understanding and really makes you feel at home. I could not be more thankful for this school. We love spice tree!!

I am writing this review with great sadness since 1 week ago on 9/1/22…. It was my sons last day at his first daycare Spice Tree. We are moving to South Carolina which is the ONLY reason we had to leave this daycare and I’m telling you if I could just bring it with us I WOULD IN A HEART BEAT. He is 2.5 years old now and started here in April 2022, 6 months he was here. The director Jen made me feel at home from the very start. We spoke on the phone and then did a virtual tour, she explained everything to me and made me feel it’d be a perfect fit and that it WAS! I was extremely nervous it’s being his first daycare but they made me feel so much better. His teacher was Ms. Sam and she and Jen both sent me pics and updates all throughout the first 2 days… after that Ms Sam would still send me random pics a few times a week… I could also always check out there Facebook and they always put updates on each class and photos (if you agree and sign the waiver) so you can check up on them that was as well. Ms Sam was angel. My son, Kage, became very close with her he was always at her side and loved going to “school” we called it bc he felt comfortable and at home there. He was a little hard with napping at first bc it was always with me in my bed. So she would sit next to him and rub his head… when she would walk away he would wake up and cry so she just moved his mat next her desk and he was fine. They really do care here. Sam was his teacher so I knew her more than any of the staff but ANY encounter I had dropping off and picking up with whoever was at the door was so pleasant. Every staff member was extremely nice and very caring and Kage loved them all and would go right too any one of them. The place is clean, the classes are big and the outside is big fenced in and so fun! They are not in one classroom all day…. They have a “gym” area they go to with mats and bigger toys to play with like bikes and ride on things etc. and they go out side at least 2 times a day for an hour each time but when it’s nice they have them out a lot which I loved bc Kage absolutely loves being outside. I hope the next place we go to is as pleasant as this one. Where I feel safe leaving him there but more importantly that he feels safe and loved and cared for while his momma is at work.
