Spanish Schoolhouse

We love Spanish schoolhouse. They offer so many different activities for the kids to do and really keep the kids engaged throughout the day which is not easy. The teachers are amazing and take such great care of the kiddos. It's a wonderful learning environment and we couldn't be happier with everything our daughter has learned so far. She loves going to school every day.

I've loved my daughter being at this school the last couple of years. The teachers are wonderful and the school works with you on any difficult situations (like your kid being the last to be potty trained!). The bi annual shows are so much fun. The petting zoo, the annual bike parade, dress up days. A tip is to take a picture of the weekly plan they keep inside the classroom. Let's you chat to your kid about what they are doing (and for me, learn a little spanish). I like the two ladies who run it, they always say good morning, smile and help you start your day right. Our little one got into old union so for kindergarten we moved on. This has been a wonderful school for us and I'd recommend it highly.

Bravo! Bravo! Bravo! My daughter just finished her first year at SSH and performed her first show dancing and singing in front of about 150 people. At the beginning of the year, my daughter cried every time we dropped her off. She didn’t want to participate and was very quiet. Today is not only a success for my daughter, but proof the teachers and staff at Spanish Schoolhouse have what it takes to help children BLOSSOM. They are patient and kind and affectionate. The Director gives her a hug every morning when she arrives, and so do her teachers. They also see talents in our kids and encourage them to step up. Today, my daughter introduced into the microphone (and in Spanish) the songs her class was going to perform for the show. She spoke clearly and confidently and smiled as she danced. She is a very different little girl since the beginning of the year. Tonight she said, “I want to live at Spanish Schoolhouse with my teachers and do my Show every day!” I couldn’t be more proud of her or more pleased with SSH. I told my husband tonight, “I’m so glad we picked this school.” You won’t regret it either. They care about our kids and love on them as they deserve. Bravo, Spanish Schoolhouse!!!

I toured multiple locations prior to southlake location and I chose southlake based on the welcoming staff! Love the director! She is so warm! All of the teachers and staff are amazing and treat you like family and love your kids and what they do! Not to mention my daughter has learned a lot in such a short time. This was her first year in school or away from me and they have been patient and make her feel so comfortable. She loves going to school here! I highly recommend this location! :)

We have been blessed to be part of the SSH Southlake family since 2015 (!!), and my kiddos have done it all - preschool, Kinder, after school classes, and summer camps. I honestly cannot think of anything other than absolutely wonderful things to say. The director and assistant director, and the many teachers and office staff we have interacted with over the years, are incredibly organized, responsive, enthusiastic, and just overflowing with love for each kiddo. Every day when I have dropped my kids off, I walk out of the building in such a good mood and always confident that my children are getting the best care possible. I've always found the curriculum to be great - giving the kids a very solid foundation in handwriting, fine motor skills, etc. There are also so many fun enrichment opportunities that I don't think you find at other preschools - the incredible art exhibit the kids create, the Christmas and end-of-year shows, and of course the wonderful immersion in Spanish language and culture. Even though we live in Carroll ISD, we have paid to continue at SSH for Kinder, because that experience just cannot be found anywhere else. Gracias SSH Southlake!
