SSH Coppell is a blessing to our community and absolutely sets the foundation for love of school and learning. Having 2 kids, boy and girl, my daughter went through their Preschool, PreK and Kindergarten and my son through Kinder, transferring from another SSH PreK because we live in Coppell. This school is the best decision I’ve ever made for both my children. My son is a very active boy who absolutely refused to read in PreK, he learned and excelled to read through Ms. Vero’s Kindergarten class and through her guidance and continued his love of reading afterwards even now that he is in 2nd grade. He left kindergarten saying his favorite subject is Math! I was beyond thankful and he still loves math too! My daughter currently in kindergarten, seeing her brother’s love math and reading she loves math and reading too, but her favorite subject is science! She has seen so many science experiments at such a young age, and SSH Coppell makes it not only super thought provoking, but SO fun! Both my kids always came home wanted to duplicate the experiments! Learning foundation for such young children is also a lot social and emotional support as well they teach all the children with love, respect and compassion and they teach them to love and respect each other as well. The office staff are so warm, loving and supportive of the children, they genuinely care about the kids as do the teachers - my mother in law mentioned entering the school is like a big hug and it is so true. I am sad it will be my daughter’s last year, my husband wished they had every grade. Also, we don’t speak Spanish at home, my daughter is fluent and speaks beautifully and my son after kindergarten was fluent as well, learning a second language as child has so many benefits, research this and you can see how amazing this is for brain development. Our family has been a part of this Spanish Schoolhouse location for three years now, and we are incredibly grateful for the education our children have received. Beyond the great education, they have also been shown love and care every day, making their early school experience enriching and fulfilling. Every day they are greeted with genuine smiles and by teachers who are truly happy to be there. The classrooms are happy and full of warmth creating the best possible atmosphere for your child to learn and grow. The communication is outstanding, from the teachers and front office. My favorite part of the day is seeing the pictures of my child participating in activities throughout the school day and seeing how happy and comfortable they are. It has been such a gift for our children to be immersed in learning another language and culture. We could not recommend Spanish Schoolhouse more!!
My wife and I have loved our experience with SSH Coppell. Our daughter has done both summer camp and kindergarten and has absolutely blossomed through their programs. The teachers and staff were so knowledgeable and warm in every interaction we had with them. They are sooooo good with the kids. The building and rooms are always kept very clean, and I think that’s one of the reasons my daughter rarely got sick while she was going to school there. I can’t recommend this school enough.
If I could I will give this school a 5+, the teachers are amazing very loving and genuine caring about the children. Everyone seems so happy to work there there is always music and dance and lots of activities to keep families engaged. I love how good is the communication with the parents there is an email in the beginning of the week informing about the activities during the week so you know what is going on. One of the reasons why we are in love with Spanish school house is that is a Spanish immersion school they speak Spanish all the time and children can learn very easy a second language. The most important for us is that our son feel comfortable at school and in Spanish school house he is happy and thriving, sometimes he wants to go to school even on the weekends :)
I could not be more thrilled about my son's experience at Spanish Schoolhouse for preschool! The staff is so warm and friendly, and each student is enthusiastically welcomed every morning. The teachers obviously go out of their way to plan fun activities and lessons. They frequently dress up for holidays or lesson themes, in addition to decorating the classrooms, so the environment could not be more fun for the students. And the school is amazing at communicating with parents! Not only do we receive monthly schedules and reminders, but I also receive daily photos and updates of my son at school! My son loves to see the photos after school so he can show me all he did during the day. He did not know Spanish before he started at the school, but now he is excited to share the Spanish words and songs he is learning. He is even disappointed on the weekends that he does not get to go to school! And their summer camps are equally awesome! I highly recommend the school!
