Man I can write a page on how much Spanish community helped me and my family out. I thank God for you all you all don't know how much you all did for us. GOD bless you all. They never made us feel any kind of way they wasn't biases they were amazing God sent thank you all.
The food pantry needs a better system for pick up. I have been coming for years now. It's been some months now since I had last came maybe summer of 2024. I'm now back in January 2025 and I have been sitting in my car for a hour waiting to pick up groceries. The two men directing the traffic in the parking lot have been given bad directions or just do not know what they are doing. If they out here directing they might as well should have stuck to the pull up and load system. This is just terrible. So after sitting in the vehicle for a hour they tell you to get out your car to go in and get the groceries now. Must be new management.
(FYI They do Food Pantry Every Tuesday @11:30AM Very, Good People Always Willing To Help Anyone In Need. I came here to volunteer I had to do my 40hrs community service due to Felony Charge -due to me flying down the Expressway. Here at the last minute they helped me out also met alot of awesome people there. Feels good to give back to the community and see a smile on there faces
Our NFP organization, held a staff meeting in a resource room. Spanish Community Center is a phenomenal community partner. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everyone took time to share information about resources and programs they offer. We are so appreciative of the support Spanish Community Center offered in shared space.
Just wanted to express my disappointment in the management. She explained how the center did not need any help with teaching the Latino Youth GED classes in the area. As a Latino myself I know how difficult it can be going to get your GED. She also try to say that everyone is just sent to JJCollege that all she knows! That's ashame are Joliet Latino Community Center deserves better!
