I was in the Base children center growing up and it was the best experience ever! The staff take your children to school and pick them up, they play games, crafts, fun little cooking activities everyone once in awhile, during the summer time is a blast! You’re child can go on field trips, their is also kids night out which is also a ton of fun for all of the kids. I never wanted to leave and was always mad about being picked up early. The staff are great people! When my child is finally five I will be bringing her here. Bring your children here ! This program is awesome !

This Lutheran church is actively serving the community with food programs, youth programs, before and after school enrichment program, adult Bible study, men’s and women’s breakfast groups, community garden, quilters group, music team, choir, worship service band, and multiple worship opportunities. It truly is a Christian congregation where all are welcome, regardless of background or orientation.

Great experience! We are new to the Spanaway area and Jenny & her team are lifesavers. I need care for my 5 year old for a month during the summer and they provided affordable care & my daughter loved it. I love how my daughter learned about God while being there it was amazing! Thanks Jenny & staff, may god continue to bless this place with good staff & children.

BASE daycare has been an absolute blessing for our family, and I can't speak highly enough of the wonderful experience we've had there. From the moment we discovered this gem nestled within a church, we knew it was a special place that aligned with our values and beliefs. Our son, in particular, has a passion for cats, and we were touched by how Miss Jenny, one of the caregivers, took the time to connect with him on this interest. Her genuine interest in understanding and nurturing his love for cats not only made him feel seen and valued but also helped him feel comfortable and confident in his own skin. Moreover, the pricing at BASE daycare is fair and reasonable, making it accessible to families from all walks of life. The peace of mind that comes with knowing our children are in a safe, loving environment where they are not only cared for but also nurtured spiritually and emotionally is truly priceless. The church family is very friendly . The Church is very family and community oriented. There's a food bank just outside of the church. They have a community garden on their grounds. They run a Before and After School Enrichment program (BASE) that caters to school age children and transport to Bethel elementary schools . All of my children have been in their program. From K-6th, I wouldn't have my children anywhere else.They're Summer Camp is Awesome . Different theme for the Summer every year. The kids go on about two field trips a week . And have other planned activities on site. The Staff at BASE are AMAZING !!! They're very friendly , genuinely care and are great people. Which is hard to find these days. BASE is the place! They are very appreciated.
