This place is amazing. Not only do they offer help such as WIC, childcare and Fuel / Electrical assistance, they also offer job training, help for people with disabilities and housing help to name a few. Good, normal everyday people who do extraordinary things, work here. They understand the real difficulties people go through and they're genuinely there to help others. An honest and great place.
Mainence is great always quick to come over after the call. However we live all around very loud handicap people (no judgment) but too many people live here that should be in assistant living ( not safe for them to live on there own) If you have section 8 they will charge you triple your rent just to move in!! And if you have an ac they will charge you $50 every time they put it in or take it out there so greedy. The landlord stacy never answers and rarely calls back when she does you forget why you called in the first place.
Any issues I've ever had with this agency have been a product of my own doing. If you can follow rules and expectations and take responsibility for your own downfalls then you would definitely give SCS five stars. I've learned so much being a part of this agency and the staff I have worked with have always been kind but firm with me. They've gone out of their way to do what's best for me when I couldn't always be objective enough to do so myself and they've proven to be a great asset to my family.
We stopped to get information on Senior Housing. The woman at the desk was very nice and helpful. She made my Mom feel a little more at ease regarding what forms she needed.
The staff is friendly. They guided me through the steps needed to get into an apartment. The waiting list was really long but understandable... We need more by income housing in Keene area, and really everywhere in the USA...
