Quality of care has greatly decreased and will no longer be using this facility. Staffing is inadequate as evidenced by children being left in pullups with dried feces in it and the "teachers" clearly overwhelmed and the kids are out of control. Staff is chatting instead of actually watching the kids in the play area. The "teachers" are glorified babysitters and the meals are nutritionally deficient for growing children. They have recurrent Hand, Foot, and Mouth breakouts and the manager, Brooke, will not listen to parents concerns, is dismissive, and refuses to acknowledge literal health & safety concerns. The 2 older ladies that give the kids breakfast minimally interact with the kids, do not comfort them, and seem to not want to be there. I understand there is a shortage of childcare in this area but unless this agency makes some major changes, I would not recommend trusting them with your child.

We highly recommend Southwest Children's Academy for their outstanding care and educational services! Our son started at 2 months old and has had exceptional care, especially from Pam and Carly in the infant room and Aulani as he got older. The people who work here truly LOVE your kiddo, want them to grow, learn and thrive, and take time to get to know your child's needs. My son loves walking in their doors each day to see his friends and teachers. The teachers are always helpful, supportive, and knowledgeable. The Director Jill is exceptional, communicates well, and creates a strong partnership between home and school. Jill is quick to call if they need to inform you about anything regarding your child. The location is clean, organized, and fun for the kids. I can confidently attest to the outstanding quality and dedication that Southwest Children's Academy brings to the table.

My daughter has been going to SWCA since she was 11 months old. I’ve never had a bad experience here. All the teachers are very helpful, supportive, and very knowledgeable. Whenever I have questions about my daughter’s behavior, the teacher is up front and honest about her. Management is very helpful and great with communicating whenever I have concerns. I trust my daughter being in their care when I drop her off in the morning. This is the only daycare I trust to educate and watch over my daughter, who is know 3 years old.

We love Southwest! Both of my kids attend SWCA so we’ve gotten to interact with teachers at both age levels. The teachers show great care and attention for our babies and we have peace of mind every day knowing that they’re being taken care of by loving teachers. If concerns ever arise, the staff and teachers are always responsive and help work through the issue for the best of the kids.

Short review: Do Not Recommend. Long Review: My son was 4 months when we took him here. After a few weeks, the director Jill, pulled me to the office and told me she hears him crying all day from her office and recommends we get in home child care. Don't you think I would prefer that, too, if I could afford it? Duh. I was genuinely taken aback and confused. Every morning and afternoon I would ask the teachers how he did and they always said he was fine. Plus the daily paper reports I got from them never mentioned anything or they weren't filled out at all. And when I brought that up to the director, her response was, "that's not their job." Uhm, excuse me? And when I brought it up to the teachers, they explained they are trained not to fill out negative things and to keep it positive. I asked them to please keep it honest regardless of how he was - because I want to know how his day REALLY went. After this I popped in a few times without notice and watched him on the cameras with the director. Each time my son was fine and not crying. Maybe I just caught him at a good time each time? Who knows. I will say, there was a difference between the morning and afternoon teachers. It was obvious the morning teachers did not like him and wanted him gone. While the afternoon teachers enjoyed having him and playing with him. My son may not have been the easiest. But having your teachers not be truthful on the daily reports and then telling the parents their child cries all day and recommending to keep them home is not ok. Maybe try working together as a team to make it easier on all parties. We took my son to another place and he loved it and would be so excited to see his teachers. Not only that, when we moved out of the state, the teachers cried and expressed nothing but love for him.
