We absolutely love Mrs. Margie and her staff. They always welcome you with a smile, and they are always friendly. They are quick to call orupdate you on issues or behaviors with your children. My kids (7, 3, and 1-year-old) love coming there.
We very much love this daycare! My daughter is 4 and had to switch daycares sometime last year due to issues we were having with said daycare however Ms Suzan the director and the other teachers has welcomed my daughter with open arms! My daughter absolutely loves it there and we’ve had zero issues! They always have a fun fill planned out calendar each month, are very cleanly which is very important to us when picking a daycare, parent inclusive and is always updating the center to be more cozy for the kids. We definitely feel safe having her there during the day and don’t feel we need to worry. They treat all those sweet babies as their own!
My uncertainty about child care stopped here. If I could give more stars I would! As a first time mom going back to work after 10 weeks I was critical to the thought of leaving my new baby in the hands of strangers. Thanks to Ms.Suzan for putting my mind at ease and proving her teachers are the best I feel safe leaving my daughter in the care of Ms.Shawna and Ms.Shirley full time. They know which swing she likes best, how she likes to be held, her nap schedule, and she has never came home with a diaper rash or empty tummy. Thank you SCC staff for treating my daughter like your own.
Uf where do I even start. This daycare doesn’t have a drop of Christianity. The director is the most spiteful person there is I believe she chose the wrong career path. At her grown age , she doesn’t know how to regulate her emotions and be professional. Tons and tons of incident reports of dumb stuff like my son grabbing playdoe from a kid and running away , mind you he’s 2! Whenever there was an inconvenience I was told to pick my son up IMMEDIATELY and I was given max 30 minutes. All of my kids clothes went missing and NO ONE knew anything or said child’s teacher is no where to be found. Anyways this daycare should be ashamed!! The only staff member that I truly loved was Taylor I believe her name was.
This daycare has stepped it up so much. I love it. My baby girl is treated very well as if she were their own. She loves attending her daycare and comes home chatting all about it. The new Director (Suzan) has really changed things around for the better. If you use to use this place and left, give them another chance, this time around. You will not regret it. Good job Southside Christian Childcare and thank you for bringing a person in that truly shows my baby girl what the Love of God truly is for His kiddos. 🥹🥰 I can definitely tell from past reviews it wasn't so good before they updated things and employees.
