South Bay Montessori School

My daughter has been going to this school for a year now. We started out with Ms Sam. And what a gem she is! Our daughters first teacher was simply the best! Smart, kind, and compassionate. My daughter just started with a new teacher Ms Monica, and she is loving her. Every morning we are greeted by Ms Evien who is kind and sweet with our little ones. All the teachers wave high to each of the kiddos while they are walking down the hall to their classrooms. The school is calm and clean. The classroom education is tailored appropriately for the individual ages groups. They have a big backyard where the kids can run and have fun. And the extra side activities that the school provides is a great resource for the kids. Would definitely recommend this school for your little ones.

We love this school! All the teachers and staff are so nice and attentive. The teachers from other classes say hi to my son and call him by name when they see him. It's really nice to see all of them be so friendly and welcoming even when he isn't in their classes. My son started in the young toddler class and recently transitioned to the young preschool class. He loves all his teachers, previous and current. He HAS to go give his previous teacher a hug and say hi every morning before going to his new class. She embraces him and still loves to see him. He's happy to be with his new teachers and the "big" kids. We're excited about his transition and looking forward to seeing him grow.

My son started attending this preschool when he was 18 months old, and he still loves learning here every day. He is now in his third class as he moves up based on age, and I'm consistently impressed. I feel that every lead teacher and TA has been incredibly professional and truly observant of the children's daily growth. As a non-native English speaker, I haven't been able to teach my son English at home, nor have I been able to offer much guidance on navigating American culture and social skills. However, it's clear that this school is the reason he enjoys playing with friends so much and has developed strong reading, writing, and speaking skills. I've also been amazed that their curriculum for three-year-olds includes subjects like biography, history, and science. He’s been learning topics outside of our daily routine in a fun and engaging way. Ms. Mariana, Ms. Vanessa, Ms. Paola, Ms. Monica & Ms. Lupe, thank you for taking such safe and wonderful care of my son in your clean and beautiful facility. We appreciate all you do!

We absolutely love the South Bay Montessori! Our daughter has been attending for over a years now, and we've been consistently impressed with the nurturing and engaging environment they've created. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the positive energy. The teachers are truly dedicated and create such a warm and supportive atmosphere. They clearly understand and respect each child's individual pace and learning style, which is a hallmark of the Montessori approach. Whether it's the hands-on learning materials, the creative projects, or the fun games they play, my little one is always stimulated and happy. We've also been thrilled with the options for physical activity – she absolutely loves the sporty activities they offer! It's fantastic to see her developing both her mind and her body in such a well-rounded way. The school is well-organized, clean, and provides a safe and stimulating space for the children. Communication with the school has always been excellent, and we feel like true partners in our daughter's education. If you're looking for a preschool that fosters independence, curiosity, and a love of learning, while also incorporating fun and physical activity, we wholeheartedly recommend this place! It's been a fantastic experience for our family.
