Sonrise Infant Care

We love Sonrise Preschool! My boys are always happy to go to school and run to their teachers. My son loves Ms Dora and brings her pictures and treats from home. I have been impressed with how clean the school is especially with all the kids. My boys are not overly sick, a couple colds for the past year. The outside rubber does make marks on their hands, but it washes off easily and I know they're having fun outside like boys should! Plus it's so much better than sand.

My Son has been at Sonrise for almost a year now.. He has grown so much since we enrolled him there. He speaks full clear sentences and is learning so much by the day. Ms. Suegy is amazing! THE FIGS LOVE SONRISE!

Sonrise Preschool (infant program) is not sanitary. By the end of the first week two doctors confirmed my child caught a virus from unsanitary conditions, which I addressed with the director. The director was quickly on the defense, denied any wrongdoing, and provided an explanation that was of greater concern. When I stated that my child contracted the virus from the germs on their rug (my child had come home with very dirty feet) the director claimed it definitely was not their rug but rather the care provider must have taken my child outside without her socks and shoes. That clearly told me staff does no follow health procedures. How could she allow this to happen! She probably didn't want to accept responsibility so she would not have to clean the rug. Furthermore, staff walks in and out of the play area with their shoes carrying dirt back into the area where the babies are crawling. Throughout the very short time my baby was there she was frequently ill and I was frantically looking for a better option.Thank God I finally found better care where she will be in a safe, clean, and truly nurturing environment. When I informed the director that my baby would be leaving the program her apathy for my baby being sick or disinterest in us leaving only validated my initial belief that my baby was just a check. She was cold, very apathetic. I believe that working with children requires a special character, and that the leadership is very important when it comes to building a strong team that will support that child. Even though I prepaid for the following month I am GLADLY happy with taking my daughter out of that infested place. Leaders need to have standards and have accountability for others, and themselves. They need to be passionate about what they do so they can transmit that energy to their team. Leaders cannot positively affect others if they are not effective. I can't imagine my child blossoming in a place where the leadership is lacking. Trust me, do not take your child here. Very rude and unprofessional people !!!

My son has been going to sonrise preschool for almost 1 year and loves it, the staff is very friendly, the place is clean, and tuition fee affordable. I would highly recommend sonrise preschool to everybody that is looking for day care/preschool.
