Sonnets Academy Hyde Park LLC

We removed our children from this Hyde Park location in February 2017. Three daycare workers were terminated following being seen on camera mistreating our children (We asked to review the footage and that's how the abuse was discovered). Our children were not learning anything as much of the staff were ill-equipped and lacked creativity and motivation to teach. Unfortunately, unless your kid is half dead, DCFS will not do anything. The teacher to student ratio is always off and they are always scrambling to adequately cover the rooms. Very high staff attrition and they had a director trying to manage two facilities. I spoke with another parent a few months ago who still has children at this location and she said things have not gotten any better. This facility has had issues from the time it was named American Kidz Academy. Stay away.
