We love Sonlight. Sonlight has cared for our children for 6 and a half years. Our children have enjoyed the music and computer programs. They love the nature trail and nature program. The environment is warm and loving. The staff truly cares about the kids and shows them in countless ways. Milestones are celebrated in each classroom. The staff holds special events for families and children during the holidays. The Thanksgiving feast, visit from Santa, and the Easter Bunny are a few highlights. The smaller size classes are just right for our kids. The facility is clean and welcoming.
I would recommend Sonlight 100%. Both of my children have attended since they were 8 weeks old. The teachers truly care for the children and provide a comforting environment and have so much fun with kids. Even when they are tiny infants in Mrs. Amber's room she does art projects with them! As hard as it is as a parent to trust someone else with your kids, the staff at Sonlight make it a good transition. My kids thrive at school and my two year old is getting so smart! He's been saying is ABCs and counting for months, he is learning safety as well as reading about Potty Training. He is learning how to play well with other kids and I love hearing him talk about all his friends at school. When my kids catch colds or get sick the staff always keeps me informed of how they are doing. They don't mind my pestering phone calls checking on them. I like the small class sizes, they get individual attention as well as less exposure to germs. They take the kids outside as much as possible, when the weather is bad they can run around in the gym. I honestly feel like my kids are with family when they are at school, which is probably the next best thing to being able to stay home with them myself.
Sonlight is definitely the best place for children! The friendly staff, along with the program structure -nature, music, computers, etc- is just perfect for children's development. My son has loved Sonlight since day one and we are truly happy to have found it!
Great daycare with friendly, caring, and knowledgeable staff. Before and after school as well as a summer School Age program that my kids really enjoy!
What a wonderful resource here in our Mequon-Thiensville community. The nature trail is one of a kind in the area and the facility is bright and cheerful. Not to mention the great staff!
