We enrolled our 2.5 year old toddler into this school after trying out the Montessori program at two other schools. The toddler program at Something Extra Preschool absolutely exceeded what we had expected, not just from a non-Montessori program, but from any preschool program. The physical appearance of this school isn’t as “nice” as the updated-looking schools that my child had previously been enrolled at in Roseville. However, the program structure applied here at Something Extra is what matters to us. In this aspect, we are very pleased to have our child enrolled here. The toddler class lead by Ms. C’arah and Ms. Talea implements a curriculum that fosters independence and active participation in the dynamic learning environment conducive for social and educational growth. On a side note, the cost for preschool here is significantly lower than what we’ve been paying the previous schools when looking at the tuition along with the included meal and snack offerings. If we ever do have another child, we will definitely enroll that child in this school.
Something Extra Preschool and Childcare is an exceptional center, as the name suggests. They consistently exceed expectations in their care for the children. Their support was instrumental in providing my child with the necessary assistance, including effective advocacy. Furthermore, the weekly tuition is quite reasonable.
Out of the many childcare programs my toddler has been in this is by far the best. I am so glad I found this program! The teachers are awesome and the activities the kids do each day. During summer they have swim days and they have a full service kitchen to prepare kids hot foods. I can’t say enough great things about Something Extra. My son loves coming to school each day and has not had any bad reports here. At something extra my kiddo thrives!
We found Something Extra Preschool after searching for 7 months for the PERFECT PRESCHOOL to fit our needs! After my tour at Something Extra Preschool and meeting ALL the teachers I immediately fell in LOVE! They took my children and cared for them as their own! My son recently graduated pre-school with Something Extra Preschool and my daughter still attends. All I can say is the teachers are AMAZING and care not just about their students but the families as well. They go above and beyond every year all year!!! My son has been here for about 2 and a half years and I couldn't ask for a better team to care for him. They've helped us maneuver the potty training stage and now we're going into Pre K and he's happy and thriving thanks to the loving ladies at Something Extra! 10/10 recommend
