Sky hope has saved my life I was broken and was to the point of thinking I would die an addict and I would spend the rest of my life either using or being in jail or would maybe kill my self the people at sky hope loved me and taught me how to love others and showed me that I can live a sober life even when times get hard I owe sky hope my life and I'm very grateful that I got to attend this program and I wouldn't have left if I didn't have too they will always have my heart

My girlfriend went to this place and with that being said...... This place is nothing short of a cult!! You are constantly having to clean you are up at 5:30 everything morning and bed by 10:00 NO exceptions! When u go in you have to take all jewelry off u r stripped off your street clothes and put in scrubs and you have to have someone to take you everywhere even to the bathroom! Then everyone who is there is taught to tear you completely down (it's not like you ain't already feeling like a big POS to begin with! Days u ain't cleaning you are made to write over n over! Now if u like to write then this is the place for you... You write from 7 am till 4pm! Your constantly writing about the bad things you have done or has been done to! The biggest downside to that is you have NO ONE to help you work through the problems that helped you become the addict you are today! So long story short this place is a damn JOKE

I had a very bad experience with the staff at SHR. When I was told I could see my girlfriend and take her out of SHR for the day I called and reserved a room for two days. As I live in Grayson Co. some 140 miles from Somerset. I came to Somerset on Saturday afternoon so I thought I would go by and possibly check in and see my girl at SHR a little early. However was I ever wrong bc bc bc after parking and ringing the door bell I was met my one rude lady that ask me to come back during regular business hours after giving me the 3 rd degree. I was treated like dirt. So I left driving slowly hoping to get a glimpse of my girl. When I returned the next morning while waiting for the staff to answer the door I was met by 3 city police officers.then the staff came and informed me my girl wasn’t going anywhere with me. She could leave but not with me. The staff told the police that I was caught peeping in the windows and they wanted me off the premises. I said run the camera’s I never did no such thing. I wasted my time and spent right at 300 dollars to come to Somerset and be humiliated by the lying smart Alec women that work at SHR. They can have the place it’s a joke and a forest to get peoples money. They have no success rate once you leave as there is no follow up once they get your money.

Sky Hope recovery center for women is an absolutely wonderful place! It is a long-term recovery center specializing in alcoholism and addiction, and as a man I cannot speak to their curriculum, but only to their results. They have turned out some of the finest women it has been my pleasure to become friends with, and those ladies are an absolute blessing to our community as is their facility!

They literally want you to get in trouble to be put on "the board" at least twice before you can get out and its not recovery they literally tell you its "behavioral modification" how do they legally get away this place
