What Parents Say
Parents consistently praise Solverus Academy Mauldin for its caring, well-trained staff and clean, Christian-values-based environment. Children show strong developmental progress, happiness, and improved health, with parents noting staff members become like family to their children. The facility excels at transitions and maintains regular care routines.
This academy does not act or care in the best interest of the children who attend here. The assistant director Janet never does her part as an assistant director and chooses to be lazy. If your child gets hurt here THEY WILL NOT TELL YOU. If a teacher notifies parents about any injuries it’s because the directory had ZERO intention in telling you. If you have a child who attends here please take them to a better environment, if you considered bringing your child here please don’t!
My son has been at Solverus now for about 7 months and it has been a wonderful experience. We enrolled him after his previous daycare closed unexpectedly. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise. He absolutely loves it at Solverus and is so much happier—not to mention—healthier! We were sick constantly at his previous school and he missed so much time. We have not been sick one time in his 7 months here. The facility always smells fresh and clean. He talks constantly about how much he loves his friends and teachers. He can tell me what he's learning and about the games he played. And their is no doubt in my mind that the teachers and the directors love my son, too. They've also been extremely patient with him as he works on potty training. It can be hard to send your child to daycare, but knowing he is so excited to go every day makes it way easier!
SolVerus is a blessing to our family! Staff is excellent, well trained, kind, and attentive and my kids are blossoming, thriving, and learning so much. This is a loving environment that really puts Christian values into action! We have been very impressed with the quality of care our kids have received. The school facility itself is very nice and is kept clean and sanitary. Our overall experience with SolVerus has been wonderful and we would highly recommend them!
When we first started going to solverus we had a great experience in the penguins class. She was in that class for almost a year then changed classes 4 times in less than a year. After moving from those classes we became very unhappy. They would advance my daughter’s class every few months. That meant she would have to learn new class rules, routines, and friends. When she would move up, we would go in and have no clue who the teacher was or the class expectations. One day my child came home with her cup still filled with the juice she started the day with. I emailed the director saying I was concerned she wasn’t getting her drink and that I had no idea what they were learning to reinforce at home. She blew it off stating she is sure my child was getting her drink and that they don’t send home papers about daily diet and bathroom usage in this class (not what I was asking for). At one point the director emailed us saying tuition would increase by $10 and then a few months later increased it another $20. With this payment increase I never saw any positive change in the daycare. A few other things that bothered us include coming home in clothes that weren’t hers even though she had clothes there, not checking her book bag and then asking for items that had been in her bag for weeks, and frequently misspelling my child name on their papers. To top it off often when we would do pick up they would be watching tv. I asked one of the teachers how much tv they watched and was told sometimes 3 hours or more a day. After seeing the reply from the daycare, I will add that in their reply (which they addressed to my daughter?) they spelled her name wrong once more
My infant son has been attending Solverus for almost two months now. The first week was a hard transition because he was used to being around me all day, but the teachers made the transition as easy as possible. Their attitude, presence and love for the children is so apparent! My son soon fell in love with the teachers and loves it! He reaches out for Miss Nataliya everytime he sees her! He has a blast there, as everytime we pick him up he’s smiling and having fun playing with toys or being held by Miss Nataliya. I love that they post pictures on the Facebook but I would love even more pictures of the babies. I’m really thankful for Solverus and all they do !
