SBCP has been an absolute blessing for our family. Diane and the amazing teachers at SBCP are incredibly caring, patient and truly experienced in every aspect of early childhood education. We’ve been especially impressed by how compassionately they support children who need a little extra help, always meeting them where they are and encouraging their strengths. It’s clear that every child is truly seen and valued here. Our kids love Ms. Diane and their wonderful teachers and look forward to going to school everyday. This wasn’t happening at the last school we were at. Even on the occasional days that they are sick and have to stay home they always ask when they can go back to school. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and are so grateful for the incredible team who makes this school such a special place. I could not say enough positive things about Solana Beach Community Preschool! Our daughter started in January of this year and it was her first school experience and the transition was absolutely seamless. She wakes up every day asking to go to school, wanting to see all of her teachers and friends and never wants to leave when I go to pick her up. Diane has created the most supportive, loving, nurturing educational environment that has generated so much growth in my daughter in just a few short months. My husband and I are amazed at her language development and certain concepts she wasn't grasping at home just clicked once she started school. Diane really focuses on each child's individual needs and incorporating the community into their education. Diane, and her wonderful staff, make me feel so comfortable as a first time parent sending my child to school. I am constantly learning from her teachers tips and tricks that enhance my parenting at home. I also love that this is a multi-age classroom as my younger daughter learns so much from her older peers. I could go on and on but would highly recommend considering this preschool, especially for younger kids just starting for the first time. We feel so lucky to have found this incredible community created by Diane!
Solana Beach Community Preschool has been a wonderful experience for our family, and we couldn't be happier with Ms. Diane's approach to early childhood education. My daughter absolutely adores her! Ms. Diane uses a fantastic combination of art, imaginative play, songs, and gardening to make learning both fun and engaging. Ms. Diane integrates community involvement into the curriculum. Local leaders, like the dentist, police officer, and librarian, stop by to speak with the children, giving them real-world experiences and a sense of connection to the world around them. The sense of community that Ms. Diane fosters is also exceptional. She regularly organizes playdates outside of class, allowing families to get to know each other and build friendships. On top of that, she offers parents much-needed "parents nights out," which is an added cherry on top. Ms. Diane is incredibly flexible with pick-up times, making things easier for busy parents, and she truly goes above and beyond to create a supportive, caring, and engaging environment for both the kids and their families. My daughter squeals with delight every day she gets to go to preschool, which speaks volumes about the warm and welcoming atmosphere Ms. Diane has created.
