Smiley'S Before & After

I saw this brunette woman, who is likely the owner of Smileys Daycare, driving her dark-colored company vehicle in Topsham on Jan 22, 2026. I saw her fly past me in my car on the right at a high rate of speed and yank her car in front of a silver vehicle that I was following. There was absolutely no room for her car to go, and I was certain they ware going to crash. The driver of the silver vehicle hit their brakes and swerved sideways to the left and miraculously avoided what could have been a serious accident. I called the phone # of Smileys Daycare and a female answered the phone. I started to tell her about the accident that someone driving one of their company cars nearly caused. She started to shout and swear at me and tell me that this "didn't happen." I then realized I must have been talking to the driver. I asked to speak to the owner of the daycare, and she continued to shout and tell me that it never happened. I also realized she must also be the owner. I told her that I witnessed the entire thing. She continued to scream, and I told her that I used to work in law enforcement and that she was driving to endanger. More swearing and screaming. I hung up the phone. Inappropriate driving, behavior and foul language for a daycare center owner. I hope there were no children in her vehicle. I do not recommend!

If you’re looking for a daycare that provides drama as well as attitude from the owner, look no further! There’s nothing like getting belittled by a Middle aged daycare provider with no kids of her own, when dealing with an issue at the facility regarding your child. If she even happens to be present majority of the week, her time is spent blabbing stories and information about other parents or their kids. It’s a decent place, okay employees but please be warned that if a descrepancy arises, you will feel lost and talked down to as maybe you did when you were 6 years old, being scolded by your mother. This place and the owner could be a more professional atmosphere if she talked less and followed her own rules while not improvising them on the fly to cover her butt.

My daughter had been going there for almost a year. The owner is fantastic and very informative. The other teachers are fantastic as well. I’m so glad they had a spot for her and can’t wait for our newest baby to start there in November/December.

Owner is very very rude, very unprofessional and lies to parents about what goes on inside of daycare, also shames parents after they pull child out of the daycare.
