My son has now been at Smart Stuff for two full years. He truly loves his teachers and the friends he has made there. We love how they foster his interests and how he comes home excited about something new he has learned. We don’t have any family nearby and it has been an incredible to have a place where he is happy and so well taken care of.
The Smart Stuff staff truly earned our trust with our son starting at only 3 months old. We always felt comfortable with him there, and they helped him work on developmental milestones as excitedly as us. They also send plenty of arts and crafts home which was great. We ultimately moved him to a daycare closer to our home once he was older, but we highly appreciate everything they did for us.
Smart Stuff was great for our 2-year-old. They helped us get the ball rolling (and stay rolling!) for our LO to use the potty. It was convenient for us to bike to and Donovan playground is a block away. We loved the teachers and were grateful to also meet a lot of other parents at pick up/drop off. Highly recommended.
Being a first time mom putting your child in day care at just 3 months of age during a pandemic was so tough. However, Smart Stuff took amazing care of my little one and made the transition as smooth, safe, and supportive as possible. My goal was to find a safe and caring place for my child during work. Not only did we find this in Smart Stuff, but my child received incredible developmentally appropriate education, too. My kiddo is two and already knows her alphabet, colors, months of the years, can count past 20, and speaks in paragraphs. She also receives fun experiences like going to the library, splash parks, and field trips. The teachers have been so instrumental in supporting all the major toddlerhood transitions, such as switching to solids and potty training. The teachers are kind, responsive, and competent. We could not be happier with our experience at this center!
Our one and a half year old son has attended smart stuff for almost a year and he loves it. We've seen significant growth in his social, physical, and language development while there. All the staff is great, you get updates throughout the day, and they've been great throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. Sadly, our son will be leaving since we're moving, but felt I should share our experience for any parents looking for a loving place for their child to attend.
