Smart Steps Montessori School

My son attending this school for about a year and it was undoubtedly the best experience for the entire family. I visited at least 10 schools trying to find a place that fitted the needs of our family and the moment I walked into Smart Steps I knew it was the one. First the owners Jimila and Zafar are some of the most loving and warm people I have ever met. They truly care about the children and love what they do. The environment is small so each child gets tons of attention. They are always willing to work with any issues that arrive. I cant speak enough about how much I love this place.

Our daughter is been going to Smart Steps Montessori school since she was one year old and now she is over three years. Our family is extremely pleased with my daughters progress over the years. Miss Jamila and her staff are professional, caring and knowledgeable. We wanted a place that would be safe, educational and close to home. We found what we were looking for and more at Smart Steps! Our daughter is being cared for by people that truly care about her and want to see her succeed in life. We appreciate that the teachers are actually teaching and not just watching her. The children are engaged in many actives throughout the day like circle time, painting, story time and other fun actives that engage the development of young minds. They also have holiday events for Halloween, Thanksgiving and others with are truly wonderful and we appreciate them a lot. We are blessed to have found this school.

My son has been attending Smart Steps for just over two years now and we all love it there. Jamila and Zafar, the owners, do an amazing job at creating a comfortable and fun learning environment. This school provides an excellent balance between social and academic learning that has allowed my son to truly develop close social bonds and what I hope will be a life long love of learning. The Montessori materials in the classroom are both challenging and engaging, but our favorite part has to be the amazing crafts that they always seem to find. My son is always so proud of the work he brings home and the new skills he is developing. The care and support received at Smart Steps truly feels like family. We have had to face a death in the family and a military deployment during our time there and everyone went above and beyond to support us during these difficult times. Although we are sad to be moving on to Kindergarten next year, I am confident that he will be more than ready to meet any challenges headed our way thanks to the wonderful foundation he received at this school.

My daughter is having a wonderful time attending Smart Steps Montessori. She is excited to go to school every day, and I can see so many positive changes in her since she's started. From helping out more at home, to sharing her toys easily, to trying out a variety of new foods - this school has encouraged her to be a more independent, kinder and balanced individual. The school really feels like a home away from home for her, and I am so happy I found it!

My daughter absolutely loves this school! She is so excited to go to school every morning and is happy when we pick her up. I come from a Montessori family and was impressed that they use all of the traditional methods. The owners are warm and caring and always accommodating. It is a very small school which made us feel especially comfortable during the pandemic and also because our daughter gets more attention than larger schools. We are very happy to have found this school!
