Smart Kids Childcare/Learning Center

Do not, I mean do not take your child here. This place is horrible, high turnover in staff and the owner is VERY disrespectful. There was a new teacher in my son class every month, you could tell by the teachers mood at the end of the day that they would not be there long. The communication is bad and if something happens with your child they will tell you in front of any and everybody. There's no privacy or professionalism whatsoever. I asked the owner what's their procedure when something happens to your child and she told me that she calls whoever she wants to call. Excuse me, I'm the child's mother and should be contacted first, she was so rude and disrespectful towards me for asking a general logical question. They are foreigners who really don't care for Americans. They barely feed the kids nutritional food, they don't learn anything, my son is 3 and all they did was go outside all day. The owner is a complete joke, if you bring a concern to her/him they will not address it or even acknowledge it, all they care about is money not your child. The facility is always dirty and something is always broke, like kids restroom, ac, etc. Stay away from SMART KIDS!!!!!!

My children have been attending Smart Kids for 4+ years! The relationship/ bond that the teachers create with the kids opens the kids up to want to learn and listen! For example my daughter was only 2 when she enrolled, she was shy and didn’t interact much. Now she has developed not only a personality but knowledge and eagerness to learn! She is being tested for the gifted program! Although I work with her at home she is at school the most! There has been times I was financially struggling and the director was understanding and reasonable! Most teachers go beyond the call of duty due to their passion. I’m thankful for Smart Kids! 4/5 because nothing is perfect, but they will include and listen to the parent’s concern and actually do effort in improving! Keep up the good work staff!

So far, so good. When I called I was asked if I wanted to come by and do a walkthrough. I had to wear my mask and I had a chance to view my sons classroom and meet his teacher. I finally enrolled my son after a mishap at another daycare down the street. Everyone has been really nice. Because of the current events, they have everything posted on the doors. Upon arrival, the parents and students are checked for Coronavirus - standard questions are asked and temperatures are checked. The only thing I had a problem with is that the forms said they close at 7 and I was called at 6 to see when I was picking my son up. Other than that, the teachers are nice. I asked my son if he likes it and he said the teachers were mad at him. I asked why they were mad and he said because he touched someone. I coached him about the spread of germs and the current events. I felt comfortable knowing that they are strict about containing the spread of any germs and in this day and age, it’s completely understandable. Update: Ms. Casey and Ms. Kadian in the Pre-K class are amazing! My son absolutely loves them!

My daughter has become more confident and she comes home excited to tell me about what Mrs. Nia and Mrs. Zahida has taught her. She always comes home with projects and art that she completed at school and we hang them around the house. This school teaches kids how to give back and we've been helping raise money for charity for Children with Cancer. They always have parties to celebrate holidays and birthdays. The children are to bring their own crayons etc and that keeps from spreading germs. They make sure the children wash their hands when they enter the school etc...my daughter has only been sick once this school year so I definitely trust they are keeping the classroom clean. I really enjoy coming to the school each morning because we are greeted by Mrs. Mills.

I have been using Smart Kids since 2015 for my kids childcare. They are great with the kids. My last child graduated from their Pre-K program today.
