Smart Cookies Early Childhood Center

We have worked with Smart Cookies since Jan 2017! We couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The staff is very loving and each of the classrooms provides a consistent schedule. In fact, our 2.5 yo corrects us if we do things differently than they do in the classroom (i.e. forget to put her sheet on her for nap time). The teachers are amazing – they’re not only highly skilled and professional but also incredibly nurturing, loving and attentive. Our children have thrived in this environment, developing both socially and academically. We’re so grateful for the loving and supportive atmosphere at Smart Cookies], and we highly recommend it to any parent looking for a top-notch daycare.

This is a very overdue review, our little girl has been at Smart Cookies for almost a year, starting at just 7 weeks old. All of her teachers have been over the top loving, and genuinely care about her and her success. Ms. Jenkins, the Director, and Ms. T the Assistant Director are phenomenal and have made our experience top-notch.

We have loved our first year at Smart Cookies!! From the infant room starting at 13wo to the woddlers with our now 14mo we have had nothing short of a fabulous experience. Mrs Jenkins and her team have loved our kiddo like one of their own and it’s been a joy to watch the growth and development of our child in the time we’ve been here. We always get a happy, clean, full bellied kiddo back at the end of each busy day of books, songs, outside play, flash cards, exploring and more! The theme days are particularly fun like crazy socks or PJ day! Smart Cookies hosts a nurturing and vibrant atmosphere centered around care and guidance for our littlest friends. 10/10 would pick everytime.

We are so extremely grateful to the Infant Room team at Smart Cookies. As I write this, my 4 month old daughter is taking her 4th 1.5+ hour nap over two days. I had a tough transition in my first week back after maternity leave because the first daycare we chose did not meet our expectations. My daughter came home wailing, screaming and crying 2 out of the 5 days. All babies cry, but my baby was super chill and super happy before I went back to work. That first week, she turned into a completely different kid - I felt like she was traumatized by the way she was being treated at daycare. After one week with the Smart Cookies Infant room team, she is noticeably happier. I noticed on the third day, that she would smile at the caregivers as I was dropping her off and picking her up. She would never smile for the other daycare teachers. Whatever they are doing with eating and sleeping, it is clearly effective. My daughter went from taking only one-ish ounces of her bottles to taking the full 3+ ounce bottle. On the 5th day, she took her first 2 hr nap at daycare and after we brought her home, the next 2 days she took 1.5+ hour naps at home. Before daycare, she would only take 40 minute naps if we were lucky and one long nap in the afternoon. Now, every nap is a long nap! In addition, they are so good about communication. If I text Ms. T, she will always respond promptly, even if she doesn't have the answer. We are so happy with the teachers and we feel blessed that we can send our infant to Smart Cookies.

All the teaches are always so nice and attentive to my baby, always encouraging her to eat and drink her meal. Very communicative of everything that is happening daily!
