My children have been attending Smaller Scholars for the past year and a half. The Dairy Ashford campus is beautiful—bright, comfortable classrooms, a well-maintained field and playground, and plenty of shade that lets the children enjoy outdoor time under the trees. The teachers, assistants, and entire staff are truly wonderful. They take a genuine interest in each child, accommodate when possible, know every student by name, and are consistently patient and kind. Both of my children’s teachers are exceptional educators and incredible human beings. We can see our kids thriving, growing, and learning with ease, thanks to their teachers’ dedication and the hands-on Montessori approach. Thank you, SSMA!
When your child wants to go to school every day, you know that school and teachers are doing wonderful things. The decision to send our daughter back to school was not an easy one. But, we have been very happy with it. We feel very safe having her attending the school (the pandemic). She is learning so much. More importantly, she enjoys learning and having friends. She loves her teacher Ms. Kristine. All the school staff is wonderful. They know every child. Highly recommend Smaller Scholar Montessori Academy.
Two of my daughters are attending Smaller Scholars. They have been part of this amazing school since they were two and now they are in 1st and 3rd grade. The academic program is outstanding and they have developed such love for learning through the Montessori method. We feel that they already have such a great foundation for future success. The teachers are wonderful and our children enjoy going to school. Highly recommend it to all.
My daughter attended the school for almost a year. The school is great in many aspects: children are happy and teachers are professionals. On top of it- you get absolutely great administrative office that is ready to answer your questions, concerns any minute. They are nice and respectful. Kudos to Mrs Marshall and Mrs Jannet- they are talented teachers and have an approach to every single child. I am sure the rest of the teachers are the same. Clean environment, good engagement between parents and teachers. I wish we could stay with the school but we had to move to a different area. Thank you for being there for us!
I am a parent of a 2 1/2 year-old attending Smaller Scholars Montessori Academy at Dairy Ashford, I am also an Emergency Medicine Physician by trade. Our experience with this Montessori Academy has been nothing less than wonderful. The staff is State of the Art and the administration is extraordinarily attentive. My daughter absolutely loves going to the Academy and has grown both intellectually and socially by leaps and bounds since attending the Academy six months ago. Not only do they run a wonderful classroom, they also have attended to the specific needs of my child. I highly recommend this school.
