So where to start! My ex wife and I (together) enrolled both of our children to this daycare around 2018/2019. The childcare center isn’t the best but it worked for us. I ended up asking for a divorce from my ex wife around Feb 2021, around this time I was active National Guard working COVID. I knew my ex and the Director, Teressa had made friends but I wasn’t aware that a friendship trumps business. After separating and returning home, I asked Teressa to let me make a pick up list for my children since I had the kids 50/50. She told me “NO”! The only person to make “changes” is their mother. So for several months I could not see my children due to this issue. Moving forward, getting my attorney involved, I was finally able to make my pickup list ONLY BECAUSE my ex was ok with it? My ex wife wasn’t happy with whom I began dating and Teressa and Dora fed into keeping my NOW WIFE!!! away from my children. Eventually when my “fiancé” at the time attempted to get my children from the childcare center, they would give her so many issues, dirty looks, and verbally inconsiderate to her. CRAZY!!!!! IT GETS BETTER!!!!! Again moving forward, Teressa (the director) and the last Manager Dora (WHO WAS FIRED FOR STEALING MONEY DURING ALL THIS, INCLUDING MY PAYMENTS) was subpoenaed to court during the divorce. ON THE STAND AFTER BEING SWORE IN !!!!! Dora chose to speak and represent the child care center with Teressa siting behind her (this was done via Skype). During questioning from my attorney, Teressa would attempt to whisper to Dora “Say Yes! Or say No!” To the questioning. This happened 5 times in a row before The judge had to stop the court and ask them to excuse theirselves and strike them from the record. THIS IS SUPPOSE TO BE A BUSINESS! A place to trust to watch your children!!!!!!! Teressa managed to finagle some numbers as my “payments” which were super incorrect and forced me to pay back child support. I attempted to make payments while I was gone but was told I didn’t owe anything. This costed me an extra $7,000. At the end and finally released from my marriage and court ended, Teressa attempted to act like everything was fine. Like she didn’t just lie on me in court! This place has doctored documents to attain extra money from the State of Florida through ELC and the food company. These people ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED!!!! UNFORTUNATELY TERESSA AND KACY MADE A DEAL TO FORCE MY CHILDREN TO CONTINUE TO ATTEND THIS FACILITY “to not interfere with change” IN THEIR LIVES!!!!!!!
They are wonderful with my son Cody and he is a lot I give them so much credit I couldn't do it.
I love Small World Daycare the staff are courteous they take very good care of my grandchildren and they're always eager to help
