Small World Child Care - West Jordan

I enrolled my daughter in this daycare when she was 18 months old, and now she is already 5 years old. I have never had any problems or complaints about the staff or teachers. I admit that for a while I wasn’t very satisfied with the administration, but ever since Fabíola joined the school, things have improved a lot. I love the activities that include the parents, and I really appreciate that Teacher Emily updates the app every day with my daughter’s activities and photos of my daughter. I highly recommend this daycare.

This daycare is the cleanest, most organized daycare I have seen in a long time. They have activities and centers scheduled for the school-agers, every day. The entire summer is planned out with field trips, water days, and crafts. These are pictures from today. I've seen a post recently that was negative, but they used pictures from 3 years ago with rugs they no longer have. People are toxic when they have a bill they do not want to pay. There are kids who ask their parents to come back later, every day, because they are having so much fun that they don't want to go home yet.

This location has fallen apart. Staff is constantly changing, no one knows what they are doing, there’s not a consistant teacher in the classrooms, it’s FILTHY..I walked in and a pile of feces was on the floor!!! The entire building is completely trashed and always dirty, I’ve never seen someone clean, I have taken pictures and it looks like a hoarders house. I have witnessed teachers ignore kids and leave 3 year olds crying for who knows how long. The new lady named Donna who is the “director” doesn’t seem to know what planet she is on little own know anything that is going on at the center. She could not help with account inquiries, she always says “I don’t know” but is quick to tell you how much money you owe in a loud aggressive way with other parents standing near by, she is mean, demeaning, and has no business manners. My kids are crying at the thought if having to return to daycare after the weekends, and they never used to cry. I am in search of a new place and I’m horrified that my boys have to go to this place every day until I find a new daycare. My 2 school age children have walked to the daycare after school due to the daycare not showing up to pick them up and the principal at the school having to walk the entire daycare group to the daycare. Avoid this place at all costs!!!! The west valley location is much better and has decent staff that know what they are doing, and treat both parents and children with respect and kindness. My heart breaks for the kids that are too young to tell their parents how they are being treated when they are dropped off.. absolute worst place to bring your kids, and absolute worst staff. Donna was the worst decision that has been made and she is running people right out the doors!

My son started going to daycare at 4 months old. It was hard to drop him off, but Small World took such good care of him! He went here for about 4 months before getting into a daycare closer to my work and grew to love it by the end. He loved his teachers in the infant room and my wife and I loved them too. We can’t recommend Small World enough!

I absolutely love my experience with the staff and facilities here at small world! I have a 3 year old daughter and was so nervous to try a new daycare after a horrible past with a different provider. The ladies at Small world are so nice, patient and understanding not just with the children but also with parents! Every concern I have ever had was addressed and handled promptly and fairly. My child is always clean and actively learning and participating with other children. My child loves her teachers! And I don’t know what I would do without these ladies.
