Small Wonders

This daycare was originally privately owned and the owners truly put a lot of time and effort to make it something unique like no other center. However, the owners sold the daycare and the experience quickly became a very over priced daycare with lots of rules. They stopped all of the learning, had a high teacher turnover rate and the center really dropped a lot of the special amenities that made it a fun atmosphere. They also made it clear that they were not interested in your child after the age of 5. At one time I did rank this place a 5 star but now if I could give it a 0 star I would. Way too expensive and not a fun or friendly place. I am only making an edit to my review to note that since making the review, Management has been quick to make 5 star reviews stating how much they do for the "school age kids, what a complete lie. The school age classroom has a 20:1 ratio and the kids are going wild almost the whole time, I can't blame them it is not fun. Seems like the teacher assigned to the room just gets on to kid after kid. There is no learning, they have video games (a switch) that they do not let the kids use, by the age of 5 they have outgrown the playground equipment and be prepared to have them eat the exact same gross food every week. I addressed these issues with the teachers and they were in agreement and referred me to management. It all fell on deaf ears with the management, they seem to just put out more rules. I put my child in a different before and after program through the school for 1/3 the cost and he gets additional learning time, better playground equipment and he is very happy.

After touring with Mrs.Dawn as a potential parent at this child development center, I was very pleased with the clean and friendly environment! We will definitely hop on the waitlist

My Small Wonders has been amazing! We’ve been here since 2001 and their summer program is great fun for the school age kids! They’ve been to the Science Museum, Zoo, Showbiz and Martial Arts every week! We love their staff!

We have used My Small Wonders for over 6 years, and have had two children go to the facility for childcare services. I can't say enough positive things about this place, they have been wonderful to our family and our children, and I have never had any concern about the care my children received there, which provides a piece of mind you can't put a price on!

My small wonders is absolutely amazing! Both of my grandchildren attend. It has been a blessing to know that they are safe and loved every day. The personal connection the staff, as well as the director has with my boys is exceptional. MSW doesn’t feel like a daycare. It feels like I’m taking my boys to stay with family. My boys are two years old and three months. The two year-old knows everyone’s name. He is always happy to see them all. He recently had eye surgery. The staff was more than willing and helpful when putting in his drops daily and encouraging him to wear a patch and his glasses. This has absolutely been crucial in his recovery. Communication with parents and grandparents is exceptional. We are extremely grateful for Terri, Dawn, and their teachers. The live camera feed and the app are absolute bonuses. I would highly recommend My Small Wonders!
