As a fellow ECE, I was very particular when looking at childcare options for my son. Touring several nearby facilities, some looked more physically impressive, but the staff at SHBD was unmatched. We have never once regretted our choice. The team is happy and bright-eyed even by 4pm which really says something about how well supported they are. When the educators are well taken care of, the children are as well. My son loves his teachers and, although it’s hard for me to not spend that time with him, I can rest assured that he is getting exposed to enriching activities and building healthy relationships. The teachers at SHBD treat my kids like their own, which is something I highly value as an anxious parent entrusting my babies with a daycare center. My son started with Ms. Gizem, who was fundamental in making him feel safe at a new center. Ms. Courtney has been wonderful with my son who has anxiety, and I have seen major growth since starting in May after working with both wonderful teachers. Ms. Bobbi, Ms. Kayla, Ms. Sarah, and especially Ms. Cat and Ms. Anaria, have been so supportive in offering ways to best support my daughter. I feel safe leaving my daughter with any of these wonderful teachers. I also really appreciate the support from the main office, Kate and Brittany, who have been so helpful with navigating any and all obstacles I have encountered since starting in May. The staff in general are SO friendly, and you quickly develop positive rapport and relationships with everyone. Ms. Mariah, Mr. Dakota, Ms. Coretta, and Ms. Sarah in Dolphins all know both my children by name without having them as students, and will always greet them and talk to them. We love SHBD! 🫶
We love Small Hands! Dakota has been wonderful this year! The level of crafts and activities are amazing. We all appreciate all of the updates and photos through out the day! THANK YOU! All of the teachers are like family and take extra care. Miss Jill and Miss Bobby also have went out of their way to make everyday count and bring fun and learning to our son. Kate does a great job of making sure the child is in the right class. Thank you!
We have two children enrolled at SHBD and couldn't be happier with their development. All teachers and administrators truly care for their students and treat each child as an individual. The SHBD team is an extended part of our family, and we are especially grateful for the teachers who our kids are with most often: Nicole, Kayla, Emma, Bobbie, Kat, Amanda, and Anaria. My little one attends here 4 days a week and he LOVES his teachers. I do too. They are so kind, knowledgable and attentive. You can tell that Sarah C., Anaria and Courtney truly care about your little ones. They always go above and beyond and I couldn’t be more happy with the experience I’ve had here.
