Slater Montessori Academy

All three of my kids attended preschool here, and my youngest recently graduated as he is now entering TK. I couldn’t be happier with our experience at the school. The teachers sincerely care about the kids, and the educational program is terrific—they do a great job of balancing hands-on learning and play. My kids were always excited to share what they learned each day. Another aspect I appreciated was the variety of extracurricular activities. My youngest especially loved the weekly music class, and both of my boys enjoyed the soccer program. I liked that the kids had a chance to try different things and learn new skills outside of the classroom. I have to give a special shout-out to Ms. Elizabeth—she treated us like family from day one. She was always available to answer my questions and truly took the time to get to know each kid because she wholeheartedly cared about their well-being and happiness. If you’re looking for a nurturing preschool with a solid educational foundation and a space that supports your child’s growth, I highly recommend Slater Montessori!

Honestly, my son has grown so much after joining Slater Montessori Academy. I noticed he became more social, independent, and verbal, and he gets just the right amount of stimulation he needs. He loves all the activities, especially arts and crafts and music time, and he’s made wonderful new friends he loves talking about at home. His teachers, Ms. Faran and Mrs. Rasika, are so patient, caring, and attentive. Mr. Deyon and Mrs. Elizabeth are always kind and welcoming, and Mrs. Cleo prepares the most nutritious, delicious meals for the kids. I am so grateful for the care and love our child feels when he’s in their care. This school exceeds all expectations. The staff provides a perfect balance of structure, creativity, and care. My 4-year-old has flourished here — learning, making friends, and developing such a love for learning. I feel completely at ease knowing he’s in great hands every day. As a first time mom I was so terrified on taking my son to a daycare I came across Salter Montessori one day driving to work. I decided to take the tour and they made me feel so comfortable and understood my worry. They worked with me and let me do a 1 week trial before I made a decision. At first it was hard for my son but I knew it was going to be fine, it was hard for my self as well but they send me updates when possible to let me know he was fine. As days went by my son was more at ease at drop offs and that gave me so much peace. All the teachers and administrators are so genuine, kind, and patient. Slater Montessori daycare was the best choice for my son & I. Now I see the process my son has moved up academically. Best decision I’ve done. I will definitely recommend to my family, friends & colleagues.
