What Parents Say
This facility appears to be a vocational training center, not a daycare. Reviews are overwhelmingly positive (all 5/5 ratings) and focus on medical and industrial certification programs including phlebotomy, medical assistant, LVN, and forklift certification. Students praise engaging instructors, high job placement rates, and comprehensive career support.
I completed my phlebotomy class in October. I was honestly nervous about going back to school after so many years and worried I wouldn’t retain the information. However, Jess made everything easier with her clear explanations and supportive teaching style. Once we started hands-on practice, Myretta had a unique way of helping us remember important skills, which made the learning process even more effective and confidence-building. Overall, I feel both of my instructors were excellent and provided very clear, helpful information throughout the course. The only slightly negative thing I experienced was that the class felt a bit unorganized at times. However, since we were the first phlebotomy class at Charles A. Jones, I completely understand that there were a few things still being worked out—and those issues were addressed as the course went on.
I attended the CalRegional phlebotomy course. Myretta, our skills instructor was always engaging and explained each process thoroughly. The class is overall very fast paced but Kathy, our lead instructor made sure each one of her students understood and memorized all the new information.
My experience here at Cal regional was great Ms.Myretta pushed me to always do better and act like a Professional. Ms.Kathi Great Regional Manager and teacher really prepared us For the quizzes and Assignments. I recommend this Program to whoever wants to pursuit phlebotomy and is In search for a program.
Just wanted to add my 2 cents; I attended the Medical Assistant program in February to October 2018. I looked at several schools prior; reviewed their programs, attended their orientations and was completely enamored with Mrs. Patricia Bradshaw. After the orientation, I felt I had to learn from her. She is passionate about medicine, a wonderful & caring person, upholding in black & white right & wrong.. I have to this day the most love, respect & admiration for my educator. Without her I wouldn’t be where I am today. I was able to use financial aid to finance my course and I’m not sure what it’s like presently but I had a great experience in my attendance. I became Student council president, we participated in several volunteering and community out reach events. I’m just so grateful to this person for her time, care and guidance.
