Good place for affordable and clean fun. Good music. Fair prices on food and drinks. Needs to be cleaned more often because some patrons are messy and trash up the place. Bathrooms need work. The rink floor is not great. Totally needs a resurfacing or whatever it is they do to improve it. It’s still fun.
Today is my first time visiting Astro Skate in Ormond Beach. This is how skate rings are supposed to be: solid lighting, good music, a great rink, and an old school family friendly feel to it. They have a food court, plenty of seating, and even some arcade machines. The skating rink even has a separate small area you can practice which i thought was really neat. The managers Doug and Julie should be commended. They are extremely professional, courteous, and kind. If you have any concerns or questions about anything, you can expect them to handle it with the utmost kindness and respect. For that i want to give a personal thanks to Doug and Julie, thank you truly. They do their jobs with a smile and they are truly phenomenal. Today was my granddaughter birthday I understand no food policy we did order pizza , chicken , drinks for 15 people but we had our cake we brought with us they didn’t let us sing or eat the cake for a 4 years child you imagine the face and the sadness when she couldn’t even eat or blow the candles. I will never go back again or suggest this place to anyone.
Very upset to come here and find out that they DO NOT honor there website pricing. We came here for a 2 hour low dough skate to have to pay almost double that..very upsetting that couldnt honor it. On top of that I wouldn't call this kid friendly alot of exposed wood and nails..
Hands down 1000 times better than before!! The skate day was both exciting and more engaging for the kids, and when the staff walked around with coffee for the Moms, that sealed the deal for me. The music remixes took us back! Worth every cent. Loved the new look!
