What Parents Say
SISU receives overwhelmingly positive feedback from parents whose children attend, with multiple reports of significant developmental progress and individualized care, particularly for children with special needs. However, a small number of negative reviews cite enrollment delays, safety concerns, and facility maintenance issues. The center appears to specialize in neurodivergent and special needs care.
We were hesitant about starting daycare—our kids had always been cared for by family, and the idea of leaving them with anyone else was difficult. But looking back now, we can say without a doubt that it was one of the best decisions we’ve made. In just one year, we’ve watched them grow, learn, and develop in ways that continue to amaze us. Their teachers have been nothing short of incredible—nurturing, patient, and truly invested in their growth. We’re so grateful for the love and care they've received at SISU!
My child just started. He is non verbal and has some sensory issues. He has been there for about three weeks and we are already seeing a happier child. He has started talking a little, using the swing/slide, and making some improvements. We are hopeful and excited for our time here. So far it has been very positive. Update: My son has been here for a few months and we can't say enough nice things. We have had such a good experience. Teachers are very neuroaffirming and my son is always so happy to go school. We are already seeing improvements.
I don’t believe this school is the best place for a child with special needs. It requires multiple attempts of you advocating for your child’s needs for you to be heard, and your child can come home injured at anytime with no explanation, incident report or bandages. The staff here literally treats you/your child how they see you and they also speak negatively about your family amongst themselves. They truly do not care when your child is hurt or has more bad days than good and it shows in their body language.
My son recently started going here. He's gone to other schools but the "one size fits all" approach was not working and he was not happy and didn't feel like he fit in. Sisu has done more for him than I could have ever hoped for. He's like a different boy. They realize every child is different and focus on them and their needs, not keeping up with a curriculum. He's learning at his own pace and has come so far in just the first month. The teachers are all so great and truly care and love the kids. I really can't say enough about this place, it has been life changing. I see some reviews with parents upset about them not accepting their child. There are just too many kids with special needs and only so many open spots. Believe me, if it was up to the school, they would accept and help every child. They really don't want to say "no" which is why it sometimes takes a little time for them to let parents know if there's an open spot. I wanted to write this review to share my experience with the school and my child's time at the school. I know everyone wants the best for their children but the negative reviews seem unfair. They're from people who are angry that their child didn't get in and not based on their experience at the school. We love it there.
they pick n choose who they want to accept and its quite sad. We were strung along for about 5 months and finally they told me and my son thru email that they dont have a spot 4 him...smells rancid in there i guess there was a flood per there instagram account n have simce painted n put these random carpets i see everywhere....water damage os real n damgerous if not fixed
