💫We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Simpsonwood UMC, and Pastor Dave Allen Grady officiated our marriage. Everyone was incredibly supportive; Pastor Dave, Pastor Susan, Lem Meador, David Francis, Holly Kornegay, Lindsey Evans, and Ken Poland. Their coordination, guidance, help, and kindness made our day perfect.💯✨️ Daniel and I feel truly blessed and grateful to be part of the Simpsonwood UMC family, and we are now members of this church. 🙏❤️Sunday services with Pastor Dave and Pastor Susan, the wonderful choir, the worship and prayers, the events, children and youth ministries, small groups, and weekly gatherings — everything is amazing. I've been to many churches of many sects. Often I have had embarrassing situations and incidences that make me feel as though a higher being or something does not want me going to church... but not this one. This church welcomes everyone with loving arms! I don't go to church very often, but they never forget you. They have two services that plays to your interest. If you like a more traditional service. They have that. And if you find that typical and boring they have a fun, modern spin version. Definitely recommend everyone check it out! Absolutely love the band!

I love Simpsonwood Church! We've been members for seven years, and my favorite things include: 1. Meaningful and memorable teaching through outstanding sermons and numerous small groups/Sunday School...allowing you to grow closer to God 2. Fantastic contemporary music at the 8:45 service - really fills your spirit as you worship 3. Fun, energetic, and loving youth program that offers my kids a place to belong and to feel loved while teaching them the right way to live and giving them the opportunity to serve others 4. The fact that our church constantly pushes its members to welcome new people and to go out into the world to serve others in the name of God. Come give us a try!

This church has served as the hub of Scouting for boys in its district in Atlanta as long as it has existed. It has been an anchor for this program in membership and finance averaging over 40% in this area every year. When my own son was in the troop, 20 of the adult leaders were Eagle Scouts. This church has been a fountain of Scouting leadership to the community, the District, the Council, the National Council.

I have been a member of Simpsonwood for about 5 years and after much searching, I found my church home. Simpsonwood UMC has something for every age group, whether you a looking for an active youth group or have a young family and are looking for a place for your family to grow or find yourself an empty nester and are looking for fellowship, you will find it here. The small groups and Sunday school classes have many choices and they continue to grow, programs for children (from pre-school thru high school) are very active and inviting and our congregation is a true “church family” and we welcome new members with open arms. Our Missions program encompasses many local as well as International projects. Simpsonwood is a church that truly believes it’s congregation should act as the hands and feet for our Lord and our Pastors help guide us in our vision “to know Christ and to make Christ known”. I feel like I have grown so much, both personally and spiritually, since I have joined SUMC and I feel so blessed that God has shown me this path to follow.
