What Parents Say
Silver Ridge Childcare Plus receives mixed reviews with ratings ranging from 1-5 stars. While some parents praise the teachers' communication and accommodations, others report serious concerns about staff behavior, classroom management, facility conditions, and high staff turnover. Recent experiences appear to vary significantly.
We have loved them. The teachers have been so great with our child. They are very communicative, he has made so many friends, and the class is small. They did a wonderful holiday concert. They have been accommodating of my son's nutritional allergies. If we had another child the needed all day preschool, we would not hesitate to sign them up here.
We just pulled my child from Champions. At first she loved it, but then she began having meltdowns about going. One parent stopped Mom before picking her up to tell her the staff was screaming at our daughter. This is NOT okay no matter the situation. It explained so much. We switched schools and she's never been happier. This place is cramped as well. The staff turnover rate is high and has no consistency for the children. The new staff is rude and unprofessional. If you thought of enrolling your child here, for their sake; don't. I beg you to look elsewhere.
As a person who went there it was very loud, chaotic, and teachers had like no control over meltdowns, fights, and arguments and the way that it would get resolved is that kid getting a note home from the teachers and the parents would have to sign it. They make kids sit down and do more school work anywhere from 30 minutes to a hour more, if we were not behaving. Also the kids who did not have Homework were expected to do reading or writing. Now let's talk about the things that they had there, books where destroyed kids can not read destroyed books. Rugs some had holes, some were torn, toys were missing. A 24 pack of pencils were gone in one day. Crayons were short, markers were dried out, colored pencils were full and tips were missing. Now the kids. They were rude, annoying, mean, snotty, and my favorite sassy, and teachers had no control over any of it. When a kid was doing things that they were not suppose to do 2 teachers would try to get them to stop and they did, but that left the other kids would not be supervised. 1 teacher could watch 15 kids and that is way to many kids for a teacher to watch that can not really over 10 kids.
Updated review: All summer I had lots of billing issues with this company. Once customer service finally sent my sternly worded email to the site director, she called me personally, fixed everything, and told me I could call her directly with any more issues. I had to have her fix one more thing about a week later, but it's been about 2 months now with no issues whatsoever. The teachers at this location are wonderful and my son loves them. They have been professional and friendly every single time. I now would recommend this program to others.
Used to be fantastic. Last year I would have given it 5/5. This year it’s barely a 3/5. Pretty disappointed
