What Parents Say
This listing appears to be for a ski resort, not a daycare center. The reviews describe Sierra-at-Tahoe as a family-friendly ski resort with excellent staff, good snow conditions, and runs suitable for all skill levels.
This is our second time visiting this ski resort, and my husband and I absolutely love it. It’s very well organized and has one of the longest beginner slopes, which makes it perfect for anyone learning to ski. The staff is incredibly attentive, always ready to help with whatever you need. We visited on December 30th and 31st and had fantastic snow conditions. We bought our lift tickets in advance on the website and arrived with all our gear, which I’d definitely recommend—especially during peak-season time slots.
Thank you to Sarah, Jake, and Debbie, plus Chelsea, plus Braden and Ethan at the restaurant. Also shout out to Hannah Teter and her boyfriend Jeb for the rookie tips. I’m not a skier but there was a lot to do at the resort. I even took a private lesson on the bunny hill. I’ll never be one of Tahoe’s many Olympians but I had a great time. Good food, great views. The media team was very professional and kind. There’s a reason people come from around the world - I saw the flags on the helmets - to ski at Sierra.
second time at sierra and the staff is always so friendly and kind. especially enjoy heading to the top of sugar n spice via the grand view lift and finishing off at corkscrew and the bunny slopes. the food is mediocre but expectations are not high to begin with. lift lines go by fast and try to get parking spot by 8 am if possible.
Sierra-at-Tahoe is an awesome ski resort! My daughter and I went the day after Christmas after not snowboarding for 4 years, and it was such a great experience. This is where my daughters first learned to snowboard, so it was exciting to come back. The staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful. Even though the weather was cloudy, with light snow falling and windy, the snow conditions were surprisingly good, and we had a fantastic time. The resort is perfect for families, with plenty of easy and intermediate runs that are great for all skill levels. It’s also super convenient, only about 1 hour and 45 minutes from Sacramento. I will definitely return! Highly recommend it for a fun and family-friendly snowboarding or skiing trip.
A nice resort with good paths for all skill levels! I had a ski lesson with Su, and she was the best. I felt confident with her as my instructor and I appreciated her teaching style. I only did the bunny hill twice but I’m excited to try skiing again some other time. Big thank you!
