Shoreline Christian Preschool

Shoreline is all that we were hoping for in a preschool. Finding childcare can be stressful and challenging, but with Shoreline we felt a connection immediately. The staff are welcoming, supportive, enthusiastic and encouraging to all students. The teachers move fluidly and efficiently , stepping in for each other in their many different roles during the day. From recess duty to bathroom trips and all other transitions in and out of the classroom, the staff never lapses in student safety and support. This kind of teamwork from the staff and leadership from the preschool director, Mrs. Melly, contributes to the smooth operation of a school site with many different ages in attendance. The school atmosphere allows students to feel comfortable anywhere on campus, interacting with any staff member. Our family knows this personally from the countless hugs and “hellos” our kiddo exchanges with EVERY staff member we see on our way into school each morning and on our way out each afternoon. :-) Their use of the Brightwheel app gives guardians a play by play of important information throughout the day to ensure you as the parent are always “in the know” about how your kiddo is doing. (Pictures too!) Each classroom that our child has been a part of as she grows through the program has been a place of love, full of learning opportunities. Academic practices and age appropriate developmental skills are a priority, but the most important support we find from Shoreline is in the shaping of the whole child. The teachers and staff work hard to teach perseverance, and problem-solving skills. They model kindness, conflict resolution strategies and emotional regulation skills to help the kiddos be the best version of themselves as they grow through big moments and emotions. We feel safe and confident dropping our child here each day (and soon our second child will join the Shoreline family!) and would highly recommend it to any parent looking for a great child care facility.

Shoreline Christian offers children and families a sense of community to all that enter here. From the moment we walked in, we felt a genuine warmth and care that is so rare. The staff are truly exceptional—so kind, patient, and attentive. It’s clear they genuinely care about the children and create a nurturing environment where kids can feel safe, happy, and loved. One of the things I appreciate most is how focused they are on safety. As a parent, knowing my child is in a secure and well-organized space gives me so much peace of mind. I’m so grateful we found this wonderful place and couldn’t recommend it more!

Shoreline Christian School has provided a safe and loving environment for my daughter for the past four years (and more to come!!). The teachers and staff show unconditional love to all the children, and the younger children benefit from the kindness and positive guidance from the older students. We couldn't be happier!! The school itself is very clean, and the adults supervising the children all have hand-held radios. There are after-school programs such as tutoring as well as an excellent athletic program.
