Our girls have grown up at Shomrei since they were two and shomrei has been our ‘second home’ since the first days we moved to Montclair. The Shomrei community is so warm and welcoming, and provides the right spirituality and religious learning for our family. From mommy and me, through preschool and now Hebrew school, Shomrei is the place we always hoped we’d find. We’ve met our closest friends like family there and same with our kids. We’ve also been gifted the most incredible new Rabbi. She cares so much about all of the constituents and invests in each young family who is part of the shomrei community. I can’t speak highly enough of her and we are lucky to have her!!
When we first moved to town and started our kids here the community just flung it’s arms wide open. Literally the first week we had more play dates and coffee dates than our combined total in our last community. This is a truly special place - we’ve made our best friends here and found our people. My boys have had a superb eduction taught through play and love. Recently the community was so fortunate to welcome our new Rabbi, Julie Roth, whose tireless energy and love for Judaism and community is contagious. We cannot imagine raising our children (and enriching ourselves) in a better place. A million stars for Shomrei!!!
