If you have to choose between billings clinic ER and St.Vincent ER i highly recommend going to St.Vincent, I ended up going to both emergency rooms because billings clinic not only treated me so poorly but misdiagnosed me not once But twice the difference in how I was treated was a night and day difference St. vincent's ER treated me with so much respect and compassion. They explained things to me even with drawings so I can fully understand they actually listened to me.If you ever sadly have to go to an emergency room, I would definitely always choose Saint Vincent's, they are absolutely amazing. I sat in the billings emergency room. For over 10 hours in extreme pain And then they literally treated me like crap. Then misdiagnosed me 2 different times and it took them almost a week in between the 2 different times that they misdiagnosed what they missed. Saint Vincent, I was in and out within an hour and a 1/2 Max, with some of the best ER treatment I've ever had. It was The best emergency room experience I have ever had honestly so I would highly recommend going here, 100%
First off it was not busy at all when I got here. I was in much discomfort. The first hour in the waiting room I saw them call & take 2 people. I wasn't mad till I saw each & every single person who got there after me go in before me. I guess I just need to be a junky who told the clerk their pain level was an 8. Or an old ornery man who acts like it's chatty hour at the cafe who said their pain was a 12 & literally wanted to talk to anyone they could the entire time. I swear people in this town just want to come to the ER when they get bored. Not sure why it seemed every single non white person seemed to get the quickest entry times. Maybe they've been sued for being racist but maybe they should be. Allie, the triage nurse, told me they had assigned my room but were just finishing up cleaning it. This was after about 2 hours of waiting. 30 minutes later I asked her again and she said yes they're still cleaning it. I saw numerous people go before me during this period who showed up hours after I had already been there. That is unacceptable ER behavior. Allie obviously lied to me. She was nice but I don't appreciate that. I didn't even ask she just told me because she knew I was in discomfort. Pretty sure people are just showing up to this hospital to get pain medication & clogging the pipes. My doctor Ty Anderson didn't really give confidence he knew what he was doing. I think the only positive thing about my experience was the nurses in the ER who made me feel comfortable and especially Molly. Joshua was good too. However I did hear staff talking about other patients and what had happened to them. I feel like this is a HIPAA violation. It was like overhearing gossip at a salon. Finally St Vincent's or intermountain or whatever you are now, maybe you should focus a little bit more on patient care and having competent doctors and a good workflow for the emergency room rather than being focused on building the biggest building in Montana per a nurse who told me that. I've came here since I was a child and this place has gone way downhill and I don't think I'll be coming back.
Very fast and efficient. The desk where you check in, the employee's there are very nice and ready to answer any questions that you might have. They work very hard to get you seen as soon as possible!
We were hesitant to go based on bad reviews but We were very pleased with our experience. Intake was quick and efficient. Even though my husband was in extreme pain (and somewhat rude) he was handled compassionately and as quickly as the process could. Front staff was great as well as nursing & doctor. The only snafu was for the prescription but was easily remedied. I saw a lot of bad reviews before going, and it scared me to say the least, but I always keep in mind that “happy” people don’t take the time to “rate” but angry/upset people always do.
My mom was transported by ambulance from Intermountain Clinic on Broadway due to having a heart attack. Dr. Apostol and all of the staff that assisted him were fantastic! The nurses in ICU and on the cardiac floor were also wonderful. Each one took great care of my mom and made sure her and our questions were answered. They watched over her with kindness and compassion. I know she was in the right place at the right time as she was from out of state visiting. Thank you St. Vincent staff!
