Shining stars has been a God send to my family. They never turned away my kids especially when my last son was in nicu they helped me so much by taking care of my toddler. They always sent pics and updates as well. The owner Carrie and Kathy are a blessing to this town
This place used to be great years ago and I highly recommend it. Sadly that is not the case anymore. Do your research before placing here. Check state licensing and ask around town. I should have listened to those who were here previously and warned me but did not because of the positive experience from the past. If a disagreement is made owner will send out a mass message on her daycare centers app to all parents with untruthful information regarding personal information. I was notified by several of what was being said because they felt for one my family should know and two because they felt she was very unprofessional for doing so. Just keep in mind that if you place here and have a disagreement she may do the same thing to you. I was notifed by CURRENT staff about things going on which is why I set-up a meeting to discuss. CURRENT staff also encouraged me to contact licensing which was done. During this time other parents came forward with their experiences and reasons for pulling their children. Sad that staff members don't go to state themselves due to needing a paycheck but regardless just glad they felt the need to fill me in on what was going on.
My children have been going here for years never would I have ever imagined the things we recently found out which lead to me immediately removing my children. I have recommended may times in the past but in my own opinion this place should be shut down! The owner and co owner Carrie and Katy have what to me seem like they have out grown they patients with the kids.Causeing them to take the children into the kitchen where theres no video surveillance or anyone else around to punish the kids . There lack of sanitation cause my son 3 viruses this last May. My children at one point were being sent home quiet often which sometimes may be normal but was recent brought to my attention that they did not properly clean bottles and cups I will attach how my daughter was given her cup. They used to be hands down the best daycare idk what happened but no kid deserves this treatment I did call state and reported but was just another slap on the wrist last year they got cited for unprohibited punishment as they did again .
We have been using this day care for two years and never have we had any issues. A few scratches cause kids will be kids.. love this day care they have allways been very good at communicating with us.
I love this daycare! My daughter has been there for several years now and I wouldn’t want her anywhere else. The staff there always goes out of their way for you and your child. The prices are definitely some the best around. I highly recommend!!
