What Parents Say
Sheridan Montessori receives overwhelmingly positive reviews from most parents, who praise the small class sizes, experienced long-term staff, clean facility, and Montessori approach to learning. However, two negative reviews cite concerns about staff rudeness, inability to meet infant care needs, lack of camera monitoring, billing disputes, and high costs relative to facility size.
It’s unfortunate to read the poor reviews by people who are focused on retaliation for cost. If the place is too much that is okay to try elsewhere without these hurtful comments to a small business. This place is modest and doesn’t have the bells and whistles but they have been in business for a while and my daughter feels at ease there when she started attending 2 months ago. She is under 2 years old so a place that is peaceful, safe, and clean was what I focused on at her age. Hopefully those reading this would consider visiting. I will also add my daughter was living at home only her first 1.5 years and since attending has not gotten sick which many parents deal with at other schools.
This is an outstanding daycare! Our little one loves attending this location daily; whenever we get her a new toy, she gets excited about the idea of bringing it to show-and-tell (every Friday). The teachers are excellent at their job and the school is always clean and organized. Expect beautiful little crafts on holidays (we recently got a Mother's Day gift). We also got photos and videos when our daughter celebrated her birthday.
We highly recommend this place! My 3yo daughter has been attending this daycare for almost a year now and we are both happy and grateful for the service we are receiving. Since joining, my little one has improved her vocabulary, learned to share and take turns, participated in a play while dressed like an angel, created multiple crafts, and celebrated her birthday. Amazing daycare!
My daughter and I toured all the daycares near the Medical Center. We found many facilities, ranging from small to very large, and many were quite expensive. We initially enrolled our daughter in a large center, but we were heartbroken to see her crying every morning. The problem stemmed from the constantly changing teachers and the large class sizes (12 or more children). Sheridan Montessori is different. It's a small facility with a home-like atmosphere and small class sizes. The teachers, Ms. Eunice, Ms. GiGi, and Ms. Rodriguez, have years of experience and truly know each child. We are so happy to have found this school! We also appreciate that our daughter can bring food from home. This allows us to ensure she enjoys her meals and eats healthy food. I wholeheartedly recommend Sheridan Montessori. My perspective comes from the experience of being a parent with a child enrolled at the school, not just from a one-time visit. Five stars!
I wish I could give them zero star for making my baby (6 months old) cry all day.. one of the teacher (Ms. Gige) there is so rude and lazy that she told me “I am not going to exhaust myself for your baby’s requirements.” She wanted to take personal decisions for my baby and asked me to change the paediatrician.. they don’t have cameras so you never know how your baby is doing and in the end they can say whatever they want.. they flipped from their words every time.. they agreed to reimburse the rest of the money and next day refused to do so.. on the top of that they cooked up a new rate chart overnight without any prior notice and dared to ask for more money even if we are not sending our baby to them. Ultimately, I lost 10 days of extra tuition fee that they kept.. in the end it may or may not work for your little one but definitely consider how much you can trust them.. to me.. they were unable take care of my baby’s basic requirements like feeding and sleeping.. so, I really had horrible experience with them.
