Seven Oaks Kids Academy

Seven Oaks Kids Academy has been a huge part of my life over the last four years. I have four children that attends this Academy 8,6,3,2. When I entered this academy, I only had two children one going through the 4K program and also two of them went through the newborn room. As a mother of four you can only imagine how much grace you need going through the transition of raising children and making sure they hit their milestones. The Seven Oaks Kids Academy family has been with me every step of the way never judging me, but always uplifting and giving me grace! Some of the highlights of this Academy is; they are always open on time, cleanliness and the food program! I highly recommend this academy for future students

Weighing heavy on my heart to post but anyone with a neurodivergent child should not attend this daycare. The teacher for the 3 yr old room is not equipped to handle kids. I have walked in the morning seeing her yell at smaller kids ( non walking kids) telling then to shut up. In the classroom with my child he was never included in any activities and purposely left out due to his being nonverbal. He would not have arts and crafts like the other kids and no name tag for his coat hooks. He was injuried ALOT and came home with a knot on his head that lasted 2 weeks. The teacher stated she was chasing him and he fell on the concrete. Once walked in to pick up my child and his lunch box was placed on the ground outside for him to eat out off with flying around him and ants in the lunch box. Constantly isolated. They children are offered nothing to drink all day. Picked up my child multiple times who was denied access to his cup that I packed each day. My son knows limited sign language being nonverbal and his sign for ‘drink’ was constantly ignored ( after mutiple discussions about it) Being neurodivergent he was DENIED the right to bring his speech tablet into the facility to communicate another way. Also this needs to be noted, these differences were discussed prior to any attendances and childcare paperwork indicated special needs child info/funding was provided for the daycare and no accommodations were made. Horrible experience and all this was in a span of 2-4 weeks.

My child has had a great experience at this location. She started here from the age of 6 weeks and stayed until she graduated 4K. The kids and staff, especially the Director Linda and Assistant Director Lashonda made it feel like a second home.

My son has been attending Seven Oaks since he was two months old. The assistant director, Mrs. Lashonda is God sent! She always lets me know how my child is doing, what he's learning, and informs me of any incidents or concerns that I may have. She and his teacher, Ms. Kim can answer any questions I have. My child loves it there. Ms. Kim lets me know what activities or curriculum is being taught and is very sweet. My son loves her!

I cannot recommend Seven Oaks Kids Academy highly enough! My child has been attending this daycare for the past five years, and it has truly been a home away from home. The nurturing environment, engaging activities, and dedicated staff have made a world of difference in my child's development. A standout member of the team is Shonda Woods. Her warmth, patience, and creativity have made a lasting impact on my son. Shonda and the team goes above and beyond to create a welcoming atmosphere, fostering a love for learning that shines through in every interaction. I am so grateful for her guidance and support over the years. Seven Oaks Kids Academy has exceeded my expectations in every way. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed, balancing play and education, and I’ve seen my son grow both socially and academically. The communication from the staff is excellent, keeping me informed and involved every step of the way.
