Overall, the school is excellent. I attended during my high school years and currently work in a field that utilizes the certification I earned through the CTC. I cannot emphasize enough how highly I recommend enrolling in the CTC it was a valuable and transformative experience. However, I must express my deep disappointment regarding the receptionist (or secretary), Mary. She is consistently rude, condescending, and unpleasant. Her demeanor is not only unprofessional but outright hostile. It’s baffling how someone with such a sour disposition maintains a position in an educational environment, where courtesy and helpfulness should be standard. Her behavior was the same when I was a student, and, regrettably, nothing has changed. When I recently called to inquire about Adult Education programs and WorkKeys testing, I encountered the same dismissive and unhelpful attitude. I understand she may not be directly involved with the adult education department, but I was simply asking for the proper contact information not a lecture or scorn. Despite her lack of assistance, I was ultimately able to locate the correct number on my own. If anyone questions the accuracy of my remarks, I encourage you to ask around; you’ll likely find my experience is far from unique. In conclusion, while I wholeheartedly recommend the CTC for high school students, I absolutely will not be returning for any adult education programs. Mary’s behavior is a disservice to an otherwise outstanding institution.
