What Parents Say
Reviews are highly polarized with ratings ranging from 1 to 5 stars. Positive reviews praise caring staff, cleanliness, and diverse extracurricular opportunities. Negative reviews cite strict food policies, poor food quality, alleged staff rudeness, and serious concerns about discriminatory treatment and COVID-related truancy threats.
Worst school I've ever had to deal with. With the exception of a few teachers the staff is rude and disrespectful. I would not recommend this school district to anyone. Infact I would tell anyone who asks me what I feel about the school every thing we have been threw and witnessed. This includes punishing the kids if they don't like the parents, racism against black children and families, and threatening truancy tickets because you do what they suggest and keep your kids home if they have any symptoms of covid. I would recommend anyone who wants to enroll their kids in this school to stay away. Find a different school with open enrollment to send your kids too.
Caring educators, staff and admin team who do their best with students of all abilities and socio-economic backgrounds. High school AP classes to prepping kids for the workforce after high school is an integral part of the education spectrum available. The best part is kids can do everything from sports, to drama, to dance team, to other extra curriculars, to community service groups. They can do it all in Marshall versus being cut from programs in larger schools.
Some of the rules are insane. If my son is hungry and has a bag of cereal, why should he be told that he can't eat anything since it didn't grow out of the ground? My kids also say most school food is terrible so they do not always eat.
I don't go hear but I have a feeling that it is bad. My school is probably worse though.
Every thing about the school is perfect and it’s very clean
