Schertz 1st Baptist Preschool

Highly recommend FBSP! When we moved to the area, we toured several childcare facilities. We felt very at ease with the director, Ms Rachael, and her assurance that all of her teachers were doing this because they love working with kids. We have been continually impressed with her involvement in the day to day of the program, including greeting the kids at the door nearly every morning. Our daughter is now in her second year of attendance, and she loves it. The kids have a seemingly balanced curriculum of learning skills for kindergarten, arts/crafts, outdoor play, and biblical stories. The teachers are great at communicating through the class app, and have been very responsive if we ever have questions/concerns. The facility does not have classroom cameras (something I know many parents are looking for), but we have never had any concerns about the care or safety of our daughter. We are grateful to have found a kids program so wonderful, and would recommend to friends and family without reservation.

We have been part of First Baptist Schertz Preschool for several years now, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience! The entire staff is absolutely wonderful—caring, patient, and truly invested in each child’s growth. They create such a warm and welcoming environment that feels like family, and it’s clear how much they love what they do. Our kids are thriving here—learning, growing, and developing in a nurturing space where they feel safe, supported, and encouraged every day. As parents, it gives us so much peace of mind knowing they are surrounded by such kind and dedicated educators. I will NEVER stop recommending this school! If you want your kids to experience preschool in a safe, loving, God-centered environment, then you’ve found your preschool home. My children have both been through this preschool and I wholeheartedly trust every staff member to nurture and guide my children’s development. The curriculum teaches more than God, ABCs, numbers, and shapes but how to be good humans with rules/skills honed to build on how to respect themselves, their peers, and their teachers so everyone can thrive in a safe learning environment. I do not believe you will find a more dedicated staff and director and their genuine interest in the development of kids in unmatched!

This school has been a Godsend. We’ve had negative experiences at other schools but Ms Rachel and the staff at FBPS have been amazing. The classrooms are always so peaceful and my daughter has learned so much! We feel incredibly well prepared for kindergarten and I never worry about her wellbeing when I’m at work. Would absolutely recommend!

I’m not even sure where to begin with this review. The journey has been amazingly blessed! My twins started here for Pre-k 3 and continued on with Pre- k 4. One of my twins is slightly developmentally delayed and doctors were trying to convince me to let him join in ABA therapy in place of preschool. That would mean my twins would be separated and I couldn’t have that. I also knew my son just needed a chance and to be seen. So I prayed that God sent me an extended village that I could trust when I couldn’t actually see my kids. In a previous learning environment I would watch my child be excluded from learning activities and float around like a butterfly on camera. Though from the very beginning Schertz First Baptist leveled the playing field for my child. My twins are learning and thriving together. I’m always amazed by how much they have learned! They work hard but they also have fun at the same time. It was important to our family that our children are placed in a true Christian learning environment and we have received just that. These teachers love the Lord and they love these babies with everything they have in them. I trust that when they do have to provide my children guidance in my absence that they are doing it from a fair, loving and sincere place. They only want the best for my children and all of the children. Everyone at Schertz First Baptist is truly apart of our extended village and my heart hurts thinking about what is next when this chapter comes to a close but in the meantime and in between time I’m going to continue to cover the school, its teachers, administrators and Pastor in prayer. Thank you Schertz First Baptist Preschool Academy for loving with the love of Christ and for being the Hands and Feet of Jesus that are literally cultivating the next generations leaders.
