Last year due to not having YCARE available or room at other daycares that had transportation available for my sons school we had to go with Sand Spring Learning Center. My sons have gone to three other daycares since they were 6 weeks old and we have never had such a bad experience with any of them. The Director, her two daughters and a couple of the employees are some of the most miserable people I have ever dealt with. They're very disrespectful not only to you as the parent but also to the children. If they don't like you for whatever reason they choose not to, they will then not like your children. My boys who were 7 & 10 hated and I mean hated going there. At pick up, the first thing they did was complain about how mean the staff was to them. I know that in the vicinity of the Parkland Elementary schools there isn't much choices where to put your children at due to the daycares not having the space or due to lack of staffing but please let this be the daycare of last resort. This is absolutely no exaggeration, these people are nasty. I'm happy to say that we will no longer use this daycare. I hope one day they will come to terms that they aren't people that should be owning and working at a daycare as this job isn't fitting for miserable people.
